Good
Beer, Beer and More Beer
I love Take 5! (for those who might have read my other reviews, im not always a crabby critic).
Pros - light jazz music, Excellent food (i quite like the chilli chicken), belgian beer, affordable, nice crowd, good service and great ambience.
Cons - the seating can sometimes be a little uncomfortable, the tables are either too high or you are cramped in some corner or you are seated texas style as though staring out of an airplanes cockpit. I know that there are better seats available but it looks like someone ran a space utlization Six Sigma project and manged to use every square foot of the place to house a chair and table.

A piece of Bangalore's history
India Coffee house is a piece of Bangalore's history (notice how I still call it "Bangalore"). The coffee is a tad too strong if you ask me, though I love the egg sandwiches. Let's be honest, ICH is palatable only because of its old world charm, quaint interiors and eclectic customers. The food is quite average, well on the other hand what can you expect with the really affordable prices?
Cons - Have any of you walked past the loo on the way to the first floor? I cant imagine how many years have gone by since that place saw the light of a single phenyl bottle. The stench is so atrocious that it almost becomes a virtual wall stopping from people coming down from the first floor and people going up to it.

Cheapest Jack and Coke
Well, not much to say about this place really other than that the foriegn brand of liquor is the least expensive i have come across. A large Jack Daniels with a Diet Coke is under 300 bucks, that in my opinion is a real bang for your buck.
On the flip side though, the crowd isnt the best, I dont think taking your valentine for dinner and drinks here is a great idea unless you enjoy drunk men leering and howling at her everytime she walks to the loo. If it's a guys nite out (and if you enjoy a little catcalling yourself) then this is a place for you.
