kid friendly...?
i had been here a long time ago and found the parathas to be quite good, but its a roadside place so i had to help myself to a comfortable place to sit...prices are ok...and how is it kid friendly when its on the roadside?

not a very positive review
i had been there only once, early in the morning, when i had gone for a walk in cubbon park, although i knew about its supposedly good reputation i was in for a surprise, my friend and me ordered scrambled eggs after reviewing what other people were eating, the eggs weren't done properly, and they didnt even 'appear' to look clean or hygenic, after we somehow managed to finish it, we shared a glass of rose milk, which much to my amusement the waiter brought one full glass and divided it into two, what about the usual bangalore style generosity of giving a little more?? the waiter seem to keep his nose high all the time...the place sure enough looks old and retro but i got a feeling it was deliberately left like that (is that for people missing the olden days?) anyway i didnt buy their idea, and i left the place thinking i'd only come back if they were more hygenic or atleast 'appeared' to be so...

good evening hangout!
i must tell u first, there's nothing special about the place, but its location and the freedom to sit on the compound wall across the road and savour your (really) light snacks that are available, makes a good hang out. the fact that its already got a fan following and you find a variety of people dropping in the evening and day time, makes it a bit of a place. you get light snacks and cool drinks...the chat shop next door also adds to reason you'd probably want to go there in the evening...

good light food place,
the place is ideally located at the corner and you get good ice creams, juices, and other snack stuff, good place for a light fill, its usually busy, and no seating, u have to stand on the footpath ;-) but a great place for ice creams in summer!
