I have been to this place a couple of times. It offers a good place to chill out for a few hours, entertain friends, etc. The drinks are very reasonably priced, service is good but could be a bit more professional. Music varies - the second time I went, on a Saturday evening, the DJ was playing good, solid classic rock.
If you are a party animal, then this place is not for you. But if you, like me, are on the wrong side of the hill ;-), then this place might suit you just fine!

We visited this place on a very wet Saturday - the day of the highest rains so far this year in Mumbai. Point 1 in favour of this place - it was actually open for business when most other joints, including McDonalds', was shut!
Point 2 - the waiters were are freindly, even though they were obviously short staffed that day
Point 3 - good service. But on this, we were just plain lucky, as other tables had to wait quite a while for their orders to arrive.
Point 4 - Great food. I do not like Chinese food, but I actually enjoyed the food at this place. The Prawn friend rice had the most delicious prawns I have ever had, and it went well with the Babycorn and Bamboo shoots gravy that we had ordered.
Point 5 - decent VFM. Not cheap, but not expensive either.

The standard Blue Food menu that you will find at Bombay Blue outlets. The humus with pita bread was excellent, as was the Enchilada. The tortilla chips was decent, as was the Russian Salad sandwich. Being a vegetarian only place, there was no egg in the Russian salad sandwich - the only drawback to an otherwise excellent meal. The service overall was excellent, except that the sandwich arrived only towards the end of the meal.

I have been to this outlet of Pop Tate's twice, being a more frequent visitor to the Pop Tate's at R Mall, Mulund. This outlet does not have the same friendly vibe as the one at Mulund, though it provides the Pop Tate's experience of VFM, decent drinks and food.

Authentic Kerala cuisine is hard to come by in Mumbai. Malabar parothas, egg and fish curries, sadhya, etc. can be had at this restaurant. The menu is comprehensive, service is pleasant, and the food is delicious. The place does look a little rough around the edges, but going by the crowd on a working day, it seems to be popular. The location is a bit out of the way, and not easy to find, with small signage. But definitely worth a visit.
