hmmm...

yeah that is exactly what my gang set thinking when we entered this place..
yep we were expecting a similar experience as one has in its branch on residency road..which is comparatively more crowded..
the ambience here is much better..although we didnt try out the terrace they have..the insides of the place are really worth admiring and do raise an eyebrow!

although the pastry they served was not very "casa Picol"y...

we werent all that happy..but what the hell..the place was jus starting..it will catch up for sure...

well! my take on chandni chowk..

i did not mind the place neither ambience for that place..although those ear aching remix songs could be avoided..
never been to a place this sort before..so i would say calling a place "chandni chowk" does not actually mean the customers always have to compare it with the old and famous Delhi locality..
the Bolly experience to me was a never before experience and to me it was a welcome change..for people who did not like the stone slabs..i have nothing to say!..it is all in the way you take it!
i have gone there a couple of times and the food there tasted delicious to a indian food hungry stomach..
the curtains and the menu card are admired by all nonetheless...
although slightly overrated its not avoidable i would say!

authentic japanese for sure

well i have not been to many japanese restaurants before although i am always on a lookout 4 trying new stuff but unfortunately bangalore is not providing that much of a variety in this respect..of course what is popular is what is commercial..
so one day three of my equally adventurous frens and me went to harima on residency road..the well dressed watchman there, attracted our attention..of course after a long ritual of taking pics shot with him..we proceeded in..
the place was soothingly silent and the serene environment reminds one of those meditation rooms they show old japanese homes to have in movies..
the seating style is interesting and it really added an edge to the whole experience..
the menu is filled of names written in japanese (in english) and i strongly recommend not to order anything which sounds interesting without actually enquiring about it..
if you are a great fan of sushi and of course "caviar" which my friends tried out...go for it!
it is authentic and worth a try..
my vegetarian fren and me tried out a salad and another dish whose name i fail to remember..which was said to be a mix of bamboo shoot pickle and others..now that was the only spicy food among all and we enjoyed eating it..
as i said earlier, it was adventurous as we were exploring an "unknown domain"..
the experience was rich although we would think twice before going to a jap resto again..indian palate you see.
But i would gladly wanna point out that a japanese family consisting of two beautiful twin daughters was thoroughly enjoying the food...hence the comment -"authentic"!
