Medici French & Italian Restaurant Indiranagar  |  24 reviews

This place is one among the countless new restaurants that seem to have popped up in Indiranagar recently. We wanted to try out a new place in the area, and after looking at the reviews, decided to land up at Medici for dinner. We had reserved a table, although it might not be necessary. The place was reasonably big, and had quite a few vacant tables on a Sunday night. The ambiance is pretty neat, although the lighting could have been a bit brighter.

We started off with a portion each of the Veg Spinach and Non veg Chicken and Bacon quiches and a few mocktails. The quiches were just perfect,

  • Worth a try, but wait for the crowd to settle

Taco Bell Malleshwaram  |  19 reviews

Tried this place over the weekend. Getting to this place is a huge adventure by itself, horrible traffic jams, and the place is surrounded by one ways. We were greeted by a huuuuge queue, the likes of which i've never seen at a fast food joint in Bangalore. And it wasn't even lunch/dinner time! Thankfully they managed the queues decently, and there weren't any bad experiences apart from the obviously long wait.

The menu is quite simple, and just like any McD/KFC. We tried the crunchwrap, the GSB(grilled stuft burrito) and the tacos. The crunchwrap is easily the best item off the menu,

Laa Jawaab Indiranagar  |  16 reviews

Being one of the few places in Indiranagar that offers a lunch buffet, this place seems to be popular with the office crowd and we were no different. As many people have already mentioned, the place is quite small and they have cramped in as many tables as they possibly could. We didn't have to reserve a table on a Friday afternoon though. The ambience doesn't deserve much mention and the music being played was just plain bad, rather terrible.

A look at the food at offer and I was kind of disappointed to see the same old familiar dishes. The salad counter was as good as non existent

  • Good Buffet

Oakroom Vittal Mallya Road  |  1 review

As of now, Oakroom is probably the least crowded of the restaurants in the UB City Mall, and it's a decent option if you don't want to wait for your table and would like to have a good, relaxed meal.

The Oakroom is nice, big and airy, with good natural lighting, and has this huge chandelier right in the middle of the room. They serve soup and starters at the table, both of which were good. Mind you, the variety here is quite limited compared to other similarly priced buffets. Which means you get only 1 veg starter and 1 non veg starter. The salads were OK, and there was nothing really

Sagar Defence Colony  |  6 reviews

This place does serve decent South Indian Udupi style grub, but i'm not sure what the all the fuss is about. It's average at best, with a maybe a few dishes being really good. I had a try of the Onion Uthappam, Rava Dosa and finally the dependable Ghee Roast. The Uthappam was good and so was the Rava Dosa but i was quite disappointed by the Ghee Roast. It was just too thin for my liking, and that just takes out all the fun for me. Hell, if i want a thin dosa i order a paper dosa! The masala they serve with their Masala dosas are again decent but nothing much to write about. Another major disappointment... read more
