good selection of regional teas
Will have to agree with the reviewer below. They have some very interesting regional teas, such as the kulhad chai, mentioned below as well. The presentation of these teas is what takes me back here. If you're looking for a good selection of specialty teas, both international and great indian regional ones, this is a good place to check out.
Another point I agree with: although this place has a good thing going, they could do better with better inter-dec.

authentic, delicious, romantic!
Completely agreed with aarti - this spot has some amazing Vietnamese food - probably the only place where I can find it. Try the fresh steamed vegetarian spring rolls (not the deep fried ones) and the brothy Vietnamese classic noodle soup, Pho. Needless to say, the ambiance is very romantic - perfect for a date. Be prepared to spend here, to be expected at a 5 star hotel.

True Punjabi Parathas
This place may look dingy and very ordinary from the outside, but it serves up some of the most authentic, butter-dripping parathas in town. Don't miss it if you're craving that true Punjabi taste.

This place rocks - literally!
Live music, progressive crowd, excellent coffee - what more can you ask for? If you are looking to mingle with a crowd of thinkers, this is the place.
BLR needs more places like this!
