324 JP Point, Sampige Road, Opposite Food World, Malleshwarm, Malleshwaram, Bangalore

Good

Best for Breakfast

The place is a typical shanti sagar chain of restaurants, but its the best of the lot i have found for breakfast.
Grab a masala dosa or an onion uttappa and you are sure to get hooked... and the cuppa is good too...

The Residency Towers, 115 Sir Thyagaraya Road, T.Nagar, Chennai

Good

A Britishesque Pub

This is one great place to catch up with some old friends and a chilled glass of beer!!!
The whole place resembles a british pub of the 80's, what with lotsa bikers memorabilia and a Norton bike hung from the ceiling.
Its got two floors, one level is for the couples and special guests and the second is for Stags. The food is a mix of italian, mexican and tandoor.
It serves almost all kinds of drinks. inculdes a dart board a pool table too.
There are wide varieties of cocktails and mocktails.
A great place to be on a saturday night!!!

After Marathalli Bridge, Airport Road, Whitefield, Bangalore

Awful

One Point Nothing...

This place used to be the ultimate hangout for all those people who wanted to get out of the buzzing city lights and the pollution.
The drive on airport road used to be pleasant and the food at golconda chimney was good. But all that has changed. The food is bad, the service slow, and the ambience looks shoddy.
Overall, its better to give this place a miss.

E37, 2nd Avenue, Besant Nagar, Chennai

Good

Veggie Delight!!!

For a non-veggie like me, going to a pure veg restaurant always gives me a sense of unbelonging. But this is one restaurant that makes me feel that veggies have got a choice - Eden!!!

At first glance you may miss this shack on the first floor building on 2nd avenue besant nagar, but you would sure get back to it once you taste the food. Its pure excellence.

The continental cuisine is just about ok. The tandoor is good.
Overall a nice place for a calm dinner on a sunday evening.
be sure to get there early or book in advance, or be ready to wait for atleast an hour on weekends.

No 21, 3rd Avenue, Opp Besant Nagar Tennis Club, Besant Nagar, Chennai

Good

Fruits and Juices!!!

For the past 2 years, i have been a regular at the "fruit shop on greams road" in besant nagar. Everytime, i come out fresh and yappy..
the sheer range of fruits and juices makes you go bonkers on what to choose..
my favourite would be the lychee with ice cream, although the Jughead would come a close second.
There is just about anything and everything for anyone and everyone... right from the kids to the oldies, to just sit back relax and enjoy a shot of vitamins and minerals in top quality fruits!!

Although the costs seem to be on the upper side, its worth it!!!
Just Chill!!
