Nice Lasagna and Pasta

The Chicken Lasagna and the Chicken pasta are amazing. The lasagna melts in your mouth. It is very well baked and it doesn't break out even when you are having your last bite.

The pasta is made with white sauce and it is very delicious. The pasta is very soft and nice to chew.

Charming restaurant

I am a huge fan of Quattro. It has a cute little white and blue charming entrance and the little blue door makes it stand out in the mall.My fav -the four cheese risotto with the 4 kinds of dips that they serve is simply amazing. Nachos were one of the best I ever tried.Mocktails and dessert were treat to eyes as well as taste buds. Absolutely worth the money you pay. Overall a must visit for Mexican and Italian lovers.

Over-Crowded

Quattro restaurant in Lower parel is a pure vegetarian eatery. It has wide varieties in Italian and mexican food.though Italian food taste more like Indian taste and lacks the authentic Italian taste. Nachos were the best of all..It also has large variety in desserts, some of them taste are average. the ambience is good. It is always crowded as it is pure vegetarian. It is quiet expensive not worth it. Can try if you are shopping at Phoenix.

Real Italian Mexican Essence

Quattro has a very good ambience and offers authentic Italian and mexican cuisine. it is a pure vegetarian restaurant.
My favorite dishes are Caprese Di Quattro salad,Primavera Pizza, one Ravioli Rose Pasta. The condiments they serve consisted of total four sauces including the grated olives and the Pesto sauce and all had a nice flavor of the Olive Oil.
What I absolutely loved is the 'magic candle' dessert. Very fascinating n unique. They have many more great variety of desserts which are must haves. overall a wonderful experience. definitely recommended for all

Nice food,very expensive

Amazing Mexican and Italian cuisine served here, a little bit heavy on the pocket but worth it with friends. The ambiance is very nice and International. Paid about 400-450 per head which was a little bit more than I would have liked. The Primavera Pizza was good but I have had better pizzas, the crust was fresh and toppings were good, could be better. Had Ravioli Rose Pasta with mushrooms and loved it –best thing I had! Some of my friends had some Mexican burrito kind of dishes but I really do not like Mexican food for some reason. They loved it though and said it was fresh and flavourful. Portions could be better since 1 dish was enough for just 1 person and I like to share my dishes with my friends.

Heaven for vegetarians

I should say this is really a heaven for vegetarians. The service to some extent is slow. They ambiance is good. Coming to the food, the pasta is good but not that good to die for. The starters where good, something different. The best thing in the entire menu which I liked about Quattro was its dessert, I tried the red velvet pastry. It was awesome.

Pure Veg..!!

Quattro opposite phoneix mills at lower parel is one of the best pure vegetarian restaurants in Bombay for sumptuous Mexican food. Right from the soups to the appetizers and the mains the food is delicious. The restaurant is expensive and should cost about 600-750 per person including taxes. But portions are generous and justifies the costs. The service is nice and the staff is friendly. Be it a weekday or weekend this place is always full and waiting for a table can be expected and they do not take reservations. The deserts are amazing but you may have to go cut down on the mains to make space for the awesome deserts.

Good but confusing

Quattro is a Mexican and Italian fusion restaurant, something about that didn't seem right to me even before i went there. We had to find a seat a quattro because their sister restaurant Spice Klub was full at 7 PM on a wednesday.

It's vegetarian sadly and that put a damper on my evening straight away.

We ordered the fajitas which were a very dramatic affair and came with a DIY food kit. flatbreads, barbecued fillings, spreads, veggies and cheese. Well cooked and they even had a little How to card which they gave so that you didn't get confused while making the fajita.

The pasta in pink sauce was also good, too much cheese, but then that's what gets the people happy. It was very heavy and we could barely make our way through it.

I generally don't like fusion restaurants, they don't do justice to either cuisine and quattro has the same failings. Taking two inherently different cuisines, i can understand mexican and asian or italian and french, and trying to put them together somehow just doesn't do it for me.

Overall, i'd give it a miss, the foods good but you can get better nearby and the prices are decently high.

Okay place

Frankly, had heard such good things about this place that my expectations were sky high and so I went with my daughter and it turned out to be not so good experience. Ambiance is good, though a bit clustered together, service is very good, polite and attentive. But food, not that great. Honestly don't know why everyone keeps saying such excellent things about them.We ordered for a pink pasta which was good indeed but the portion was not enough for 2 people to feel fully fed! Then we had potato skins (if I remember correctly) which was good, again, nothing extraordinary. And then this mexican dish with brown rice and paneer and sour cream-I hate the sour cream so that was a complete waste, brown rice tasted like grass and only paneer was the saver of the dish. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, but overall I felt food to be bland and not upto the mark, especially considering we paid something around 1300 for these 3 dishes. Not going back for sure!

Vegetarian Escapde

I don't believe that I'm actually writing a review for a pure veg restaurant. A hardcore carnivorous this isn't expected of me. I might just get disowned by a lot of my loved ones. In my defence, I was arm-twisted by my team in eating here but I must admit it was an absolute delight. Quattro is an all day restaurant, serving food par-excellence. The ambience is nice, with sofa and high table seating.

We arrived towards the fag end of lunch time and it was relatively easier to get a table. The service staff was prompt and extremely well trained. Since this was our first visit, we went purely on servers recommendation. While taking the ordered he explained each dish and its ingredients. We started with mex tortilla red bean soup, filo parcels, mediterranean pizza, aglio olio spaghetti and spinach riso veg paprika. The soup was amazing with a spicy after taste and riso was a clear winner in taste and flavours, although other items we good as well. Four of us found it tough to polish off everything, clearly, suggests there portion sizes.

Woooh!! finally dessert, no meal complete without one. Choco ganache torte was exactly what the doctor ordered; generous slice of multiple layered choc cake with crumbled choc covering the thick end, butterscotch ice-cream presented in a waffle cup, strips of raspberry, butterscotch and choc sauce on the side. We stared at each other armed with our spoons and it was all gone in 5 mins.

Needless to say, one of the best meals. Overall, 9/10. You have to visit it.

Disclaimer - It isn't easy to get a table in the evening, especially on weekends, so plan wisely.

Not to miss!!

Lazy Sunday afternoon and we decided to have lunch here. There is nothing bad I can say about this place. From food, to service, to ambiance and decor, I simply loved this place!

As it was Sunday and it was close to 3, we weren't expecting much crowd and so it was. There were hardly 4-5 tables occupied.

Now having heard so much about this place and its desserts, we were really excited to dine here. The decor is very soothing and is a blend of antique and royal. I especially loved the way they did their lamps.

Their menu is extensive and it gets difficult to choose. And its a vegetarian restaurant so for people like me, this is like heaven! The servers immediately served us water and took our order. We ordered the following:

1. Mojito- Too much of mint and less of lemon flavor. Can give this a pass. (Pic Attached)
2. Virgin Strawberry margarita. This looked so beautiful! and it was yum also. Good amount of ice and sweetening. (Pic attached)
3. Crispy Tacos- 3 tacos shells filled with beans, salsa, sour cream and loads of lettuce. Perfect appetizer. They also give you a plate of all the fillings, in case you need to add more. But since these are loaded, you don't require that. The taste is bang on! Try this if you love tacos. (Pic attached)
4. Enchiladas- We asked for a filling of beans in one and cottage cheese in another. I can say by far, this has been the best enchiladas I have had so far.
5. Pesto Genovese- Penne pasta in pesto sauce which is a combination of basil, pine nuts, garlic and olive oil. Wholesome and good amount of olive oil used. I loved this one. ( Pic Attached)
6. Chocolate Cage- The highlight of our meal. THIS WAS SIMPLY MOUTH WATERING! Save some space for this one. This is a quattro special brownie topped with white and dark chocochips, set inside a chocolate cage served with vanilla ice cream in honey cup. ( Pic attached)

We ended up paying close to 2300 for all this. Comparing the money for what I had, the quantity and ambiance, this place does justice to the value! Perfect & Mindblowing Food

After having resisted to visit Quattro due for long due to its nondescript entrance, one day we decided to try it (just because we were too bored with all options in Phoenix) and I am happy I finally did visit.
Located right in front of Phoenix mills, it has a small entrance but inside, its quite a big place with ample seating. There are proper couch kinda places and high rise tables mostly for two.
The only issue I saw with the seating was that the high rise chairs may get uncomfortable if u sit for long.
Coming to the ambience, its done pretty nicely in whites and paintings all over. They also have a private dining area which comes with a minimum bill guarantee of around 13k.
The menu was quite elaborate with multiple options across Italian and Mediterranean cuisine and best part being that everything is vegetarian. We went for the Mexican soup with tortilla chips which was served with bread and soup sticks, was a little spicy but very nice. We then tried a burrito pizza,, again awesome.. by then we were completely full, however I wanted to try lot of other things, mainly the ravioli and the gnocchi….will have to go again for that
We concluded our meal with red velvet cake and it was a complete delight.. also, they have a vast selection of desserts, ,which many places do not offer…so again need to try all those delicacies.
With the bill, we were given chocolates to conclude a meal, which was very sweet and different

A Non-Vegetarian In A Vegetarian Paradise!

Being a hardcore non-vegetarian, I was a little skeptical to go to a pure veg restaurant at first but all my doubts flew far away when I took the first bite of the baked mac & cheese. It was delicious. Next we ordered the Siciliano pizza which was great! The crust was thin & crisp and the toppings and the cheese were just perfect. To give our lunch a sweet closure we *after much confusion & discussion* finally ordered a flourless chocolate & orange ganache. A big thumbs up to the taste & the presentation.

Loved the place & I'm surely gonna visit again sometime soon to try out the other dishes in the vast menu which they had!

Quattro is heaven for vegetarians specially Jains! We were there for lunch and we took a lot of time to order cause they offer numerous dishes which makes choosing very difficult. Veggie Delight ...

Simply mesmerized by the idea of opening a pure veg restaurant with huge variety of egg less deserts and vibrant ambiance.

The food is awesome. However, i am a huge fan of the deserts over here. Firstly, in town there a very few veg restaurants of such high quality food.
Most of the time its crowded.

The thin crust pizza they made were simply delicious. In fact they baked the pizza in front of us. One suggestion, please keep your tummy a empty to have their desserts.

Kudos to Quattro!!

Ouattro is the place to go if you are a vegetarian and want good food. I went there last month and since then have been there three times. I always order the cheese broccoli soup.. It comes with a bread basket in a very attractive bowl. It tastes so awesome. The risotto here is also very good. The pasta and pizza are ok though the deserts again are awesome. After dinner when you call for the check they give you a kind of chocolate instead of mint refreshers which is just too too good. This place is a must go!!!

Excellent Mexican and Italian food. their best dishes are surely the Nachos, all their Pizzas and the Chocolate Shakes. Hands down the best place for a Vegetarian. Service is very good and polite. They are renovating their place right now but the overall ambiance is quite elegant. Its a great location and attracts a lot of vegetarian crowd who want to enjoy Italian and Mexican. Parking is a big issue as the small lane below the bridge is where you need to stop your car and it can be quite a mess when there is a lot of traffic. I have been there at least 10-15 times and it has always been a great experience.

It’s one of the classy vegetarian restaurant in South Mumbai. Initially this place served great Pizzas, but during my last 2 visits I see their quality in terms of taste just depleting..it gets very noisy even though being a nice fine dine place..their red velvet cake is nice..but it’s a little heavy on the pocket considering the quality falling down..but it can still work as a good family vegetarian restaurant with good service

The Plus point is that it is a Pure Veg Italian Restaurant, but the Minus point is that it is very expensive. It is located below a bridge opposite high street phoenix and difficult to spot. Luckily it has valet parking. The place is always full and people wait outside in long que's. The place inside is long in size but short in breadth. The taste of the food is awesome.

Authentic Italian and Mexican!

Went for lunch with office group of 15 or so, and havent been able to resist it since then !!

PROS:
1) Great food- authentic Italian and Mexican!!! Really really yummy
2) Great ambience- bit noisy, but really great interiors.
3) Great variety of food as well, served very tastefully and beautifully.

CONS:
1) Servers do not know how to make recommendations.
2) Food quantity is too little.... ONLY because the food is sooo good you just cannot help asking for more!

Great place, even pure non-vegeterians love this place ("I dont even miss meat!")

Amazing delicacies

I had heard a lot about Quattro from friends and hence decided to give this place a try. It is located right opposite High Street Phoenix. Well, if you are coming by car there is no parking available there.

The place is quite small. They do not do reservations. Its first come first serve. If you plan to come in a big group then be ready for a huge waiting esp when it comes to weekends. The ambience is just about avergae. The seats are pretty comfortable.

This place is a pure vegetarian joint. Being a non vegetarian decided to give this place a try as i had heard soo much about its delicacies. A friend of mine particularly suggested me to try their soups but being just 2 of us we skipped it. While i decided to go for their Risotto and my friend decided to go for Lasagne. On being confused what to call for we asked the waiter. He recommended us Spinach Risotto with Vegetable Paprika and Feta Lasagne. Both the dishes were really good. The Risotto was the winner for me. The flavour of spinach in the rice was just awesome and the vegetable paprika in creamy sauce complimented the rice very well. If you are a rjce lover then you got to have their Risottos. Even the Feta Lasagne was nice esp when the cheese you get in the mouth while you have it. And how can anyone miss out on their desserts. We decided to call for Caramello.. It was just devine!!!

The one thing that i was not happy about this place was their service. Even though this place was half entry their service was bad. After we were done with eating had to waut for about 10 mins to spot someone to tell them to get the cheque.

Over all a good experience.. Highly recommended..

Vegetarian Delight !

Very few Purely Vegetarian Places in Mumbai actually survive the competition, but Quattro is here to Stay and Shine !! Not the typical pizza and pasta italian place that opens up at the corner of your area. Each section of the menu is well thought and the dishes are absolutely brilliant !! The staff is very helpful and friendly unless you plan to visit on weekend (no restaurant staff in Mumbai is at their best behaviour on a weekend in Mumbai) Right from the appetizers to the dessert and the coffee everything has a fine dining italian experience in it !!

Average joint for vegetarians

I went to quattro after hearing all the hype about the amazing food.. but found it very avg after personally trying it.. moreover it has a vegetarian menu... so that was a disappointment too...

I tried the mexican bean soup which was avg.. it was not the authentic mexican bean soup that i had expected to receive... considering they have a large number of mexican choices on their menu.. i expected better... the pastas were average too..

All in all an average joint when it comes to food... decent ambience.. the staff was courteous and prompt in their service ...

A MUST PLACE FOR VEGGIE FOOD LOVERS

Location right opposite to high street phoenix, this place has been paradise for veg and jain foodies. Nice selection of menu, pink pasta, chocolate cage brownie, Tomato with roasted corm and ravioli in Soups, Firehouse Chilli Nachos, Bruschetta in Appetizers,Primavera in Pastas is a must try. Also the fondue was to die for. Also look out for the spinach risotto and the pesto gnocchi. Little expensive though it serves all need for veg food in town.

Quattro is actually one-of-its-kind in Mumbai. It serves jain mexican and italian cuisine which is as good as the mainfare. Again one of the few places where you cant order anything wrong. Every dish of theirs is unique and delicious. Amazing variety of pizzas and the best would be the pesto pizza. The best pesto sauce in town. The kind of variety served is just amazing.

And yes, the desserts. They can easily stake a claim to the best dessert presentation in town. Really good desserts and presented in a really beautiful way.

Just about perfect and a paradise for vegetarians and jains. highly recommended

i had been with a friend to Quattro .. a very bad experience ... there was 90 mins waiting and we wanted a big table to be seated which was informed to them at the time of booking.... inspite of informing the same, after 90mins they gave us a very small table that too next to the kitchen. we were very disappointed and asked for another table for which we waited for more 30 mins.

Finally when they served food, we thought it would value the money but once again a big appointment.. No taste in the food and a very big bill amount.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER TILL DATE.....

hope sme1 responsible takes an action....
1. ill-mannered staff....on a week day with average crowd, not ready to take the order properly. If you call them second time faces are being made...they are behaving as if they own the restaurant.
2. Not at all value for money.
3. Clear cut cheating on bill :- VAT charged twice.
4. Service Tax charged on the Total Bill instead of the service Charge.

No matter how other people experienced this place or would rate i will definitely not recommend this place.....

Bad Behavior with a high price

So I go with my girlfriend to this place and its crowded as hell. Heard a lot about them and they have some really good food but the waiters pass comments at their guests. A place that charges steeply for their food hasnt taught them simple manners that you cant nick name guests and speak ill about them. Then when I happened to approach him for his name her mislead me by giving a different name. I lodged a complain with his manager, thats the time i was shocked to find out the truth. When confronted he says that he did nothing wrong and that he didnt realize that I asked him his name, but kept apologsing. Then he got aggressive. Such are the low standards of behavior in a supposed place with high standards. Great! DOnt think I ever want to go there again.

Best place to have veg Italian food

Very warm interiors greet you & make you smile.
We ordered the big nachos with salsa which was brilliant. The garlic cheese bread was yumm too.The mix sauce fusilli pasta & mushroom risotto are the best I have had in Mumbai.
Loved the presentation & flavours too. The pizzas were good but for me TUK pizzas still remain on Top !!
Service is polite & they take care of you at all times.

I think the desserts at this place are their secret speciality. We ordered a velvet cake and a chocolate cage something. Both were to die for

Hair in Our Food!

Went there after hearing good things about the food and service but was surprised at how wrong I was. The positives start and end with the food - the taste and presentation was good and refreshingly different. The portion size was a pleasnt surprise as well.

However, while scooping in for my third spoon of verde sauce for the nacho grande, I noticed a medium-length strand of black hair, shining in the light. Upon informing our server, he continued to serve the appetizers to the rest of the table and alerting our primary server. After talking to the manager for a couple of minutes, I was told "This may have happened accidentally. Can I bring out a small portion of the nachos that you sent away because it had some verde sauce on it?. Since we were interested in sampling more entrees, we declined the offer but instead asked for him to either adjust the bill, give a complimentary dessert or anything else he wanted to choose, at his discretion.

After our entrees, we were offered menus to order desserts but being pretty stuffed we declined the offer.

After our meal, our bill did not reflect any of the above "adjustments" neither did we get the complimentary dessert in a box or an offer for it. Upon quizzing the server about this, "we do not parcel any complimentary desserts" was the immediate response. The issues I have with this:

(a) Quattro had a piece of hair in their sauce
(b) Neither I nor anyone on the table heard the server or manager come over and apologize, either at the time of reporting it, during our meal or after our meal while leaving the fine restaurant.
(c) The compensation offered was a small piece of cake, upon bringing it up and debating with our server who did that after consulting with the manager at the time.

Great Option for Vegetarians

Went there twice in one week, once on Saturday for dinner. Had to wait for an hour to get a table , but the food was well worth the wait.

The restaurant can get crowded and noisy on weekends, so if you are looking for a quiet romantic meal setting, this would not be a good option

The food is consisted and high on taste and portions. The spinach rice with veggies in Paprika is highly recommended. The long grained aromatic rice is mixed with a spinach puree and the paprika sauce is the right amount of cheesy

They serve around 8 dips with the soup that you order, some of which like the strawberry salsa and the black olive dip are very interesting

The Pizzas have a thin crisp crust but the base lacks punch.

Overall, the food is above average and the service is not bad either

Rats ..

Was really looking forward to my visit to this restaurant.
Went with my wife & lil daughter.
Waited 5 mins & got a table. Spotted a rat & ignored it thinkin I saw something wrong.
The server was rude & dint look kindly when we asked for normal filtered water
Spotted a rat again running from one table to another.
The servers & managers looked at each other and I saw them look at the rat and then they looked at me & turned their faces the other way!!!!
When I asked them about the hygiene standards they denied seeing a rat at all !
Come on guys ,this can happen to any1. It's human to make errors but to not acknowledge it & be in denial is fatal....sad really sad !!
2 stars for the all veg pizza .. The penne arrabiata was awesome !
Dint have the courage to sit & try any desserts :(

Yummmmmm

Being a vegetarian, this place is an absolute delight for me! I've tried the Italian as well as Mexican food and it's always been great! Only regret (which I'm sure is everyone'e woe) is waiting time, but it's totally worth it! Unfortunately, I have always been on a diet when I've been here, so haven't tried their famous desserts. But yes, good news, they have good low calorie options as well!

Lower Parel's Best Kept Secret!

It was my b'day and a memorable b'day dinner it was :-)

My wife had picked this restaurant and while I was approaching the same, she kept reminding me of its location and rightly in her words, "This place is extremely easy to be missed!"

And it actually is, the restaurant is located at the footsteps of the flyover opposite Phoenix Mill and there is just one green door to make you realise its presence.

Thankfully there's a valet service (TIP: read at end) and we also had made reservation for two earlier (TIP: read at end)

We were greeted warmly though the front staff seemed a bit flustered and were escorted to our table for two.

The cuisine is all vegetarian and they also don't serve alcohol but both of us didnt mind and ordered Kiwi Margarita and Chocolate Shake for drinks!

Thanks to this 'MasterChef' age, the menu seemed quite familiar and each dish was neatly explained.

We ordered Mexican Roulade for starters but like all mexican dishes it was loaded with cheese and we decided to save some space for main course (brilliant decision!)

For mains we ordered a Pesto Pasta and Chilli Gnocchi. The acidity of the Pesto balanced beautifully, repeat beautifully with the creaminess of Gnochi (yes, masterchef again :P ) and we devoured our food!!

We didnt have any space to eat dessert but were fully satisfied with food and service :-)

Taste: 7/10
Service: 8/10
Ambience: 8/10
Value for Money: 7/10

Tip:
1) Make reservations on phone atleast a day before as the area is busy and restaurant has no waiting lounge
2) Do check if Valet is available (their slots get full by late evening) as there is practically no other parking space but Phoenix Mills compund

Good Food Time

What I love about this place is the service with a smile, reminded me of Bangalore and that's a really good thing! We started with the tortellini, they were a bit too big for my taste and a little too thick, but delicious, a must try. Next we tried the Spaghetti with pesto and sun dried tomatoes, was good and what I liked the most was that unlike most Italian restaurants in India which fill the dish with sauce so the pasta is floating in it, they avoided it here and the spaghetti was nicely al dente. Dessert was Red Velvet cake and it was delicious. If only they'd increase the size of the portions....I would love this place.

Not worth the prices!

I’d heard mixed reviews of Quattro and was wondering if I’d like it. I finally went last night and this is my take on the place.

Food- It’s a veg restaurant that serves Italian and Mexican food. They also serve alcohol and some pretty interesting desserts. Let me tell you what we had. We called for a Margherita pizza which was decent, thin and crispy and we didn’t even come to know when it got over but definitely better than California Pizza Kitchen’s! Then we had Nachos with beans, cheese, salad and sour cream which was strictly ok, in fact even a little bland. Then we called for an Alfredo pasta (penne). It was nicely cheesed up but just white sauce, pasta and cheese is not what I’m paying so much for. It was quite bland also and because of that I had to add a lot of pepper, oregano and ketchup (yes, couldn’t help it!). I felt the quantity was less. For dessert we had a Chocochunk Fudge Brownie in a chocolate cage with vanilla gelati. Now, the cage was beautiful and the chocolate it was made of was too rich and delicious for words but the brownie was not that great. Also, the waffle basket the gelati came in was bakwas! Drinks mein we had a Fresh Lime soda and Diet coke. Oh by the way, their pepper machine is too cool! Ask for it to know what I’m talking about!

Ambience- I wish I had taken a picture of the restaurant from outside to show how lovely it looks! However rustic and Italian it looks from the outside, its chic and contemporary inside. White walls with comfortable seating, Quattro is located at Lower Parel, opposite Phoenix Mills.

Service- The service was good. No complaints there.

Prices- The pizza was for Rs. 325, the nachos for Rs. 315, the pasta for Rs. 345, dessert for Rs. 275, Diet coke- Rs. 75 and Fresh lime soda- Rs. 80. With 40% overall tax it came up to Rs. 1730 and was divided among the 3 of us so about 600 per head which is on the expensive side.

Verdict- Nice restaurant but taste-wise the food can get way better for the price you pay with heavy taxes.

Pure Vegetarian with a lot of Variety.

After a long time I found a place on par with Little Italy.
Being a pure vegetarian I'm very much found both these restaurants.
They don't compromise on taste like others who change the authenticity of the dish.

Ambience is very nice, just wish the place was a little bit bigger.
Service too was very good & I found the staff very friendly.

There were two of us & we had the Sundried Tamato with Ricotta, Tex Mex & Enchiladas.
The quantity was great.
They have so much variety that it becomes difficult to chose what to order.

Another thing that I liked about this place is that it's not too pricey.
I would definitely recommend this place.

The best dinnner I have had till date.

Hello friends, yesterday night I along with my family visited Quattro and were completely mesmerized by its Ambience, the Food, the Service. Well so this place is bang opposite Pheonix mills has a small entry to it. Make sure u make prior reservations or else be ready for wait for the table. Thankfully we had made the reservations and got the best table of the restaurant. When you enter the restaurant the interiors, the ambience just blow you away what beautiful lights they have used over here. Then when head inside they have this steplike table arrangement witch Bright red chairs and omg it looks so awesome. I without hesitating grabbed the tallest table which gives you the view of the open kitchen. Okay so we started with soups order for "Mexican Tomato soup" which was very spicy, We also called for the sundried tomato soup which was decent, But ladies and gentlemen the prize goes to "Cream of Brocolli and Cheese" it was fantastic a must try. They serve the soup along with breadsticks and garlic bread and the presentation is indeed very nice. Then for starters we had bruschetta and Enchiladas, which were okay not that great. Then we ordered for 2 Pizzas Wooden Baked and omg that was again excellent. They provide you with four different types of sauces olive oil based, olives based, tomato and cheese based and Basil based. Out of these Olive oil based which has garlic and a strong taste works wonders when combined with the pizzas. Then the next on the bucket list (:P) was Pastas. Haha the adults in our family called for dried pastas which were good and we called in for THE PINK PASTA ( don't worry just the name is pink) and then we received heaven on the plate Pasta+melted cheese total Win mmmm nom nom nom :D. To finish things off we called for Riso with vegetables it was also kinda okay but all our stomachs were full could be the reason for not actually liking it so much. We wanted to try the desserts over here but we are no Adam Richman that we could go the distance. Will definitely keep some room for the desserts the next time I visit there.

PS :

1. I am a hardcore non vegetarian and going by my nick you should have figured this out, but seriously not even once did I think about chicken/fish... The food was that tasty.

2. You have to call for the PEPPER MACHINE here, just call for it and get ready to be amazed and let the child inside of you come out. I was playing with it throughout the dinner adding pepper into my soup, my pizza , .my pasta just that I could play with it.

Total Damage : Rs 4810/- for 8 People (including 2 kids)

Totally worth it, I have found my favourife place to go and have Italian/mexican food in Mumbai.

* To the management you guys are doing a excellent job, if just the place was a little less noisy it would be so awesome but that is something which I guess cannot be helped.

Place is just OK

Went to this place after reading the reviews.
We asked for suggestions when we were placing the order and ordered the food as suggested by the waiter.. We ordered so that there was one Italian, one Mexican, etc But out of all of those we liked only 1 order - A Nachos stater. And even that was not exquisite. I found it average by the Mumbai standards.. We dint like the main course at all!!
We were also suggested a drink. Some Mango/Orange cooler.. Tat was mind blowing.. We loved that..
Service though was very good.. We were only 2 of us and wanted a bigger table. They were courteous enough to ask us to wait and even on a Saturday afternoon we were offered a bigger table..
And the seating and the ambiance is also good.
But wats the point going to this place if the just just tastes average??
Samy Sosa and Wild Wild West at andheri (W) and Chez Moi at Bandra are much better options if u ask me!

Good Food but Expensive

Wasnt my 1st visit to Quattro but was the 1st time we'd taken their 15 seater room on top. Little cramped if you try adding 1-2 more people & very expensive cos you land up paying 1,000/ person.

Being so many of us, we ordered a number of starters. The Nachos are pretty good & so are their stuffed mushroom starters ! Enjoyed the different sauces they serve by the side with the breads, etc., especially the pesto !

Good maincourse.. something different with their Spinach Rice with vegetables. Even have a stuffed Capsicum which is worth a try. I think the Pizza's are good but the pastas could have been better.
Tried this Fajita, which again was different, though a little difficult to eat cos it has to be made yourself with the veggies & sauces to be added.

The desserts are probably the best Iv eaten in Bombay. Cant think of many places with such a large layout of desserts, out of which most are worth the calories !

Besides being expensive, the drawback is the location, right under a bridge & not very appealing ! Also, gave my car in valet, & it wasnt parked with the greatest of care..got a few scratch marks.. moreover it was newly bought at the time. !

Nonetheless, Im sure the place will do well, being a Veg Restaurant serving Italian & Mexican, its a sure shot even at a price !

A lil less than perfect !

Small lil door leads you to a big beautiful vision of Italy inside.

Excellent food.. The pizzas are amazing..

I think the pesto cream penne lacks consistency with the flavours different on all three occasions.

Desserts are to die for. .. Really well made ...

The service,I think should be a lil better for a place like this...you guys need to have smarter & better informed people handling the show.. You don't want confused & not well spoken servers attending to you when your paying this kinda money ...

Good job with the ambiance & food.... Cheers

QUATTRO

Quattro is easily one of the finest restaurants in the city. The owners of this hotel have identified that there is a sizable population in Mumbai consisting of Gujaratis and Tamils who love vegetarian Italian & Mexican food and have worked towards capitalizing on this customer base. During the first of my many visits to Quattro. I was very impressed by the hands-on owner who took a personal interest in every customer's order. Then every single dish we tried was amazing and we couldn't get enough of it. The baby potato starter had a perfect blend of rich cheese and sauce. The fondue was to die for. Also look out for the spinach risotto and the pesto gnocchi. The clay oven baked pizzas had a fine crust that was baked to perfection. The deserts were creative and appealing. To sum it up Quattro is a brilliant concept that's brilliantly executed. What are you waiting for?

Sal(sa)ivatingly good!

Quattros:
Pure Veg, Italian and Mexican
If you and your family are up for a great meal in a comforting ambience; try Quattros. It’s not very easy on your pocket, but you will be spoilt for choice, and won’t mind indulging every flavor exposed!
Mexican cuisine is very partial to corn implementation, beans and tomatoes, while being ridiculously generous with spicy chili. The Italians are very generous with their meats and tediously prepare sauces fragrant with herbs and olive oil. Both cuisines heavily blend textures with rich cheeses specific to their homelands, bound on different continents. (Usually, this translates to a flickering red alarm to the health-conscious; but when at Quattros, be prepared for an exception!)
While Quattros does do justice to both heritages with the best vegetarian devices; it was interesting to note a well-crafted and seriously exhaustive menu incorporating innovative culinary creations that experimented beyond the expected. Besides the nachos, tacos, Mexican rice, enchiladas, pastas and pizzas, prepare to try extraordinarily well-attempted quesadillas, burritos, cannelloni and gnocchi, as well as signature infusions like the Lasana Mexicana and Formaggio Fonduta.
Just how I’d judge a good udipi by its sambhar, I’d judge Quattro by its Salsa. Though not quite as hot as I’d prefer, it was well-relished. Unlike its calorific contemporaries, Quattros does cater to customizing your dish to your liking. In just doing so, it unknowingly elevates itself from the competition. I was one of the first to sample its fare when it opened, and I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t recommended it!

Pleasant surprise

Been to the places a coiple of times in a month - and will be back for more.

The decor is average, nothing special but pleasant. the tables do have a diner feel and thus privacy is at its minimum. This is something that needs to be worked on. The staff is polite but in a rush for you to order.
With every order there are different saucses & topping both Italian & mexican. I am big fan of Guacamole (which they charged me rs. 80 - and is not on the menu). But it wasnt green enough. But nice to know that the staff knew what it was and the guy even reminded me its Avacados!
We had minestrone soup - which was chunky. Almost all soups are tomato based.
Follwed by tacos.
Main course we had Burriotos & Risotto with pink sauce (their speciality).
For desserts it was Tiramisu & Strawberry cheese cake. The desserts are over priced for the portion.
Overall the food was as authentic one may get in Mumbai and nicelly cooked. Pleased by taste buds & i am planning naother visit this weekend.

Good Food (Great, if you're vegetarian)

This is a nice Italian restaurant to go with friends or family lower down on the food chain (just kidding). The food isn't overly Indianized and they do give you an excellent variety of Mexican and Indian food. The mexican starter had a lot of fresh vegetables on a crisp taco - great touch. I had the quattro fromaggio pasta and it was a nice dish considering cream-based sauces aren't as easy to make well as tomoto-based ones. Considering the prices, it's a great deal in Bombay.

Overall, service was ok. They weren't rude to me as the unfortunate experience some other reviewers have had. They did take a long time for one friend's pasta, however.

On a side note: My friend was trying this pink pasta (a cream and arrabiatta mix) which is apparently popular. I tried it, but it's really odd and I still can't quite fathom that combination.

Terrible Staff and terrible service...

I must say the food here is so good...But the staff is a total contrast to the food... they are rude and impatient.. i have been to this restaurant for dinner and the waiter has said to me "ma'am please order quickly, you are taking too long to decide" the staff that answers the phone for reservations is also so rude. I am very disappointed in the management that takes such pains for the food and pays attention to detail as far as the food goes but has paid NO attention to the recruitment. I would stay away from a man called "deepak" he has no manners! and dont ever go there for a late dinner because they will not be nice to you and behave as if they are doing you a favor... I have been to quattro 3 times and been very unhappy with the service...they will not give you extra salsa without you asking 5 times... even though they make you pay for it!! the success of this restaurant is riding on the fact that it is new and the food is good but if they manage to keep up with this obnoxious behavior they will lose customers...! the owners have a bit to learn from the staffing skills of indigo deli or moshe...!

Good food & ambiance. But heavy on the wallet!

Lunch on a weekday should manage to get you a table pretty quick here..This place is heaven for vegetarians!! The menu encompasses a vast variety of Italian and Mexican cuisine.. We tried the Minestrone soup, which is flavorful, but slightly watery. The Bruschetta with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella was delicious. The crust on the Primavera pizza was thin and crisp (reminded me of the pizzas at Spaghetti Kitchen)..It tasted a bit sweet, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a dash of chilly flakes and oregano..On the plus side, the pizza portions are huge and could easily be shared by 3-4 people.
As soon as you step into the restaurant, you savor the sight and aroma as you pass the dessert counter, so there is little chance you will skip dessert. We sampled the Gianduia Mousse. I would have liked for the texture to be lighter but I enjoyed the hazelnut chocolate shavings and chocolate railing :)
However, I did miss my chicken as I ate. Also for a total billing of 1800, this place definitely ain't affordable. Will visit once in a while when I'm probably in the mood for some good vegetarian food :)

Brilliant Food and Great Service

Went there for lunch on a Sunday afternoon (one must reach there by 1 to get a place immediately).
We were really impressed by the leveled seating in the inner portion. Between two of us and a child, we ordered a portion of Nachos, a pesto Pizza and a burrito. I must say that their portions are larger than usual. Nachos - flawless with all the condiments that they provided. Pesto Pizza - one of the thinnest around and fantastically flavoured (I'm waiting to taste their other pizzas). Burrito - again flawless and large.

My wife - an avid chocolate fan - had a double chocolate shake which was very well made.

Damages - very reasonable - cannot better that.

Service - After a long time in India, except for a 5 star hotel's restaurant, I have received so much personal attention, inspite of the restaurant being full. 2 seniors asked me 2-3 times each if I required anything and took feedback about the food. The chief taking the order had good recommendations too. I feel all other restaurants must learn from the staff of this one.

Due to the large portions, I wasn't able to order desserts. I am definitely going again soon to try their desserts.

Great work overall! Keep it up!

Great place for veggies!

have been there a couple of times and the best thing in this place has to be the desserts.
The Chocolate cage was just superlative , very very innovative and mouth watering.

Food is also Good , though i liked there Italian better than the Mexican .

Ambience is good but could have been better ,

Service is also good nothing wrong at all .

Will come back for sure !

A little bit of this and that

Well I went to Quattro when there was no crowd. It was way past lunch time so my review is purely based on foodddd.... Okay burrpers get ready for this.
I am a huge fan of nachos and very fussy about my guacamole. we called for big plate of nachos loaded with sour cream and beans and i must say the guacamole was fresh but not very TASTY. One more big warning.....dont even try the dips which they keep in small jars on the table. They need a replacement. Moving on to the main course.... enchilada was rich and comforting. The best part of the meal was FUNGHI RISOTTO which was very delicious especially the mushrooms were fresh and pieces of onion were kept "crunchy " so that created a great texture.
I might go there again.....

Pathetic

Bad food , rude staff , the lamp on top of the table fell on us on it's own but luckily we didn't get hurt, the staff told us bizarre things like don't laugh coz other people are getting disturbed, and finale - worst valet. I gave my car in valet and the valet driver didn't shut my door properly which flooded my car with water in the monsoon and now I've landed up spending 20000 rs on repairs and still no calls from the restaurant

Patience Pays......

I call this as my comeback review. After a hiatus of 1 year and 3 months, to be precise, I felt like writing a review. Out of the earlier 7 reviews, 2 seem to have a very bad day but it was not the same experience but a contrast for me. Let me elaborate it in my own way..

Quattro was very much on the ‘must visit (and EAT)’ list since last week. I almost did a Rocky and Mayur (HOMP…for the people who know and those who don’t know..hmm..develop taste for good times and foods ?). My friend, Abizer threw a late afternoon party at Soam, opposite Babulnath Temple at 4 pm and I gorged upon Farali Misal, Dhebra, Spinach and Cheese Samosa, a piece of Handvo, Dhokla, Coconut water. Reached home at 5.30 pm. Some yummy Vada Paav and Pakoras were waiting for me. Needless to say I finished them. It was a challenging task ahead to travel all the way to Lower Parel and try everything what me and my better half had decided earlier. This included- Crunchy Tacos, Stuffed Mushrooms, Pizza, Pasta, Risotto and Dessert.

We reached Quattro at 9 pm and definitely didn’t expect a seamless entry. But the density of the crowd waiting outside was intimidating. Normally, two people adjust in any corner but I was told that I’ll have to wait for minimum 1 to 1.5 hrs. Wow..let my gastric juices make merry till I return to Quattro. A hearty walk across Phoenix Mill compound set a perfect plot (Déjà vu..I wrote something similar while reviewing BUSABA). We came back by 10.15 pm and after waiting for 10 more minutes we were all set to relish the delicacies of Quattro. By the way, the staff is very cheerful and I didn’t find an iota of rudeness amongst them. I am surprised at the observation of few reviewers..again..Bad Day!

It didn’t take much time for us to give an order as everything was pre-decided. However, I love to browse through menus of good restaurants taking special interest in the ingredients. We decided to go for two starters…Crunchy Tacos and Stuffed Mushrooms.
Three pieces of Tacos arrived. Amply stuffed along with assortment of sauces. Somebody please tell me how to eat them. As we try to take a bite, the delicious stuff consisting of cheese, beans, onions, salsa, sour cream and other stuff obeying gravitational force settles on the plate. You need to take help of the spoon. This one was the hard shell taco and really crispy. That was a hearty start for our dinner. And we had already knocked off Pasta from our wish-list citing it too mundane.

We were waiting for the stuffed mushrooms to arrive but there came our hero…Pizza Siciliano. I feel there should be a gradual evaluation amongst Pizza eaters and I’m on progressive path. The pizza becomes leaner, less chessier and tastier as you progress. So ours was a thin crust pizza with the lovely topping of basil, sundried tomatoes and normal cheese being replaced by Goat cheese. This gives the pizza very distinct flavour and taste. I didn’t take much time for us to acclimatize and appreciate it. That was one wonderful pizza. My next stop should be Italy itself.

In the meanwhile, stuffed mushrooms had made their way to our table. And they didn’t look attractive. Could be a low margin dish for Quattro people. It didn’t taste great and rather it was bland. The accompanying sauce was kinda tart and pungent. I mistook it for mint mayonnaise and took a big dollop on one mushroom and started coughing. ? So don’t go for this one. There are many good options available with starters section.

Next to follow was.. spinach rice with some “difficult to recall” stuff. Since there is only one dish starting with SPINACH RICE in rice section of menu, it may not be a difficult job. Take my word…this is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED dish at Quattro. Pity, I don’t remember the name clearly! ? What a good decision it was to skip risotto and go for this amazing dish. Anita was bang on target with recommendation of this dish and convincing me for trying it. The green spinach rice is served with a concoction of vegetables prepared in creamy cheese along with lettuce leaves drizzled with olive oil. It was a FANTASTICO finish for our majorly Italian and minorly Mexican dinner. So enamoured were our taste buds and guts that we didn’t go for dessert.

I don’t remember the bill amount as it was not paid by me. ??? but should have been Rs.1300-1500. Not expensive for the taste you get to taste. Interestingly, this is probably Mumbai’s first pure veg Italian and Mexican restaurant. Even all desserts are eggless. Come on…Borivali, Ghatkopar, Mulund and other parts of Mumbai…this is the place, go for it!

Note – Place is bit difficult to reach with the snarling traffic. Bang opposite Phoenix Mills, it is always crowded. Suggest you to book a cabbie instead of taking your own vehicle on weekends or make use of Phoenix Mills for the same purpose.

Brilliant

I had a friday lunch at Quattro with a friend. As soon as we went in, we noticed that though its small looking from the outside, its pretty spacious on the inside. A fully vegetarian restaurant, which serves brilliant Italian and Mexican fare, we had a brilliant lunch. The cream of broccoli soup was divine, served with bread and soup sticks, creamy and yummy. We also had a mexican starter which was also brilliant; cant remember the name, though it starts with T.

The main course of a shared risotto verdure (light and nice) and enchiladas stuffed with cottage cheese, brilliant.

The highlight had to be dessert! It was an exquisit brownie served with icecream and covered by a chocolate basket that was out of the world.

I recommend Quattro for lunch because it doesnt seem like much of a dinner place.. Great for a friday lunch or sunday brunch and you can fill yourself up without feeling robbed (reasonably priced by lower parel - phoenix standards; i.e. abt 1500 for 2 - from soups to dessert).

Added feature - Valet parking.

DISSAPOINTING !!!

me and 3 of my friends heard great reviews of this place quattro opened opp pheonix and so after our movie decided to have dinner there. the ambience was excellent made us expect great food too ! only to our disappointment, we ordered the nachos grande, bruschetta and penne arabiata....and so far the worst food weve come across! the nachos tasted stale and overpowered the delicious beans and sour cream mix on top, the bruchetta was really good bt the pasta was so horrible...it was hot tomato puree with boiled pasta...so bad that we left most of it...then they dint have the dessert they were most known for adding to misery....and one chubby waiter...loud and rude subtly kept insulting us when we complained abt the bad pasta...! and to add to all this the valet staff looses the car keys only to find it 15mins later ...we did fill a suggestion card but i doubt it reached the managers! OVERALL BAD FOOD, BAD EXPERIENCE AND I WOULD NOT GO THERE OR RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE ! very rude staff !

Awesome food

The food was awesome with enough varieties for all. Liked the thin crust Pizzas which just melted in my mouth.... Ambience is good. A bit noisy but that's the case with most Veg only restaurants and huge Gujju crowd.... A bit expensive but overall experience was very good and satisfying....
Recommendation - A sure shot eatery to be to.... Would visit again...

A well deserved 5 star

Right from the quaint blue door to the furthest interior of this culinary heaven, there is a feeling of true warmth and welcome (although the "under the flyover" can be annoying but something you are sure to forget). The minute you enter, you can smell what you are soon going to experience. Your spider sense starts tingling and you are sure good food is just an order away. The staff was extremely polite, and were ready to help us out decide the best fit for our taste. It was a bit busy, but then you cant blame the crowd... It is pretty addictive. I would definitely recommend the fondutta to start with and the pizza for the mains and end it with a fabulous Chocolate taco! As the title suggests ... Quattro.. a well deserved 5 star rating!!!

Enjoyed the Food and would go back for more

This restaurant is on the main road, right opposite lifestyle ( phoenix). The location is a disaster because its under the flyover so to stop your car there also for a moment is not possible as its a one lane road until the flyover ends a bit ahead. Luckily , there is valet parking !!

The ambience inside is decent, especially the centre tables which have a nice water stream flowing through them wihch one can see from the glass top. But, this is not your fancy, snobby place - it is a pure veg place so expect many noisy gujju and jain families with children around.

Now the food. - We had the tacos , quesedillas and enchiladas and a cucumber and mint mojito. Overall we were very happy with the food. It is somewhere in between authentic and Indian but we loved it. They serve the mexican dishes with sides of sour cream, guacamole, mexican rice, and some other stuff. Also , on each table there are 4 different kinds of salsas including a corn and a green tomato one ,which i loved. The dessert was some mousse but I found that average - not the same texture as one would get with a dessert having eggs ( this restaurant does not use eggs).

The service, though scattered, was very warm and friendly and gave one a homely feeling.

Overall, bad location but great food !

Worst Restaurant ever

so the place has a fancy name. And thats the only positive. Worst possible location - under a flyover. Valet parking - dont think it exists... the security guard tells you that you can't park there. Oh really? thanks Mr. traffic cop. Table - I am told over the phone that i don't need to make a reservation and yet when we arrive - surprise surprise.. there are no tables available. well i can see half the restaurant is empty... the manager is clueless, rude and doesn't seem to know his job (pls get professionals to do the job). Ambience - Well if you have a family of 18 and like to play the game " who's the loudest" this is the place for you... food - well i would rather go to one of the many shiv sagars, new yorker or even a street stall. Recommendation - if you hate someone, take them to this place to ruin their evening.

Quattro is one of the most amazing restaurants I've been to. The ambience, the service, the food is to die for. Each and every dish on the menu, from the fondutta to the brushcetta, from pastas to burritos, the main course, the desserts, the starters...everything is worth a try. Excellent presentation of food and great taste makes this place a must try for every person......

Great Ambiance & Decent Food

The place opened one week ago. Its called quattro which means four.

I went there with a friend for dinner. The food is average. I ordered a pizza. They have the thin crust pizza made in a special way. Not many places have that. I was served 4 types of sauces with the pizza. The garlic sauce was nice.

The ambiance is amazing just nice for dinner. They also have a private room upstairs for a bunch of 15 people. The staff is friendly and pleasant.

Overall a decent place to spend a nice evening with your girlfriend or family.
Note - they serve jain food as well.

Good place for veg mexican & italian

LOCATION ?Quattro is bang opposite Phoenix mall lower parel & cannot be missed .

AMBIANCE ?Spacious , Sophisticated , stylish , cosy , comfortable spread over 2 levels ground plus 1 this is one place you would like to spend ample time with your loved ones over good food & drinks

DRINKS ? Ordered the Very Berry which was served chilled. Thick smooth consistency not too sweet had the right blend of berries .

FOOD ?Mexican tacos were ordered by us which had good portion size & came with a variety of assortments , very filling we enjoyed them .We were confused for choiceas after having mexican we were looking for some other cuisine hence the steward suggested he gets us the italian risotto rice served with salad & tomato basil sauce with cheese which was definitely not disappointing .

SERVICE ?Minimum 20 -25 mins for your order to reach your table .

OVERALL ? On the expensive side . can be visited once.

Call ahead and make a reservation as the place is small and overcrowded generally unless you are visiting off peak hours.
