Bad Chinese

Went with a lot of hopes but was very disappointed. The Noodles was very soggy and the chicken was very bland. They could have made it better. Please don't go here as they are just running on their name.

Mainland China in India cannot beat the wonderful Indian Chinese cooked made by authentic places.

Best Chinese standard taste always...love it

I do visit this place every a month or two with my family, they serve only Chinese preparation which is too good or rather excellent taste, good quantity for two, Restaurant is Hygienic, well spread out sitting. Enough place for parking so not trouble for cars to be parked as they also have Valet Parking.... Food has a massive choice to select from, Kindly note for two One soup / One Starter / One Main Course dish with Rice or Noodles is enough quantity as you may be required to parcel the ordered balance food. To add to food they also serve you salads & Chinese Tea which too is excellent... over I would rate as the best Chinese place in Town.

For Chinese only

Last celebrated my anniversary here, it was a wonderfull exp. We ordered chilly garlic noodles, spinach dimpsums and soup. The servings are always very very filling and they score the highest on the taste. The grand interiors also makes the whole experience worth it. Its little pricey but its worth the experience. Must try is there sizzling brownies, its a perfect thing to end your meal with.

Authentic Variety of Chinese cusines

The biggest USP of, Andheri(W) outlet is the space.Hence you can get a table without prior reservations.
The spread has a variety of options and it's absolutely not the regular Chinese we usually eat in India. This place undoubtedly serves the best dimsums and hakka noodles. The crackling spinach is my all time favorite.Yu Yang Spicy Barbequed Fish strongly recommended for all fish lovers. Its fresh, non spicy, non oily and delicious.
Do eat the ginger candie they provide with the bill.
Well worth the money. Service friendly ,consistent and very attentive.

A true essence of China

Their main USP is the space. Even during weekends you could get a table without prior reservations.
This place serves the best dimsums and hakka noodles. The dimsums melt in your mouth. Another awesome non-veg dish is Yu Yang Spicy Barbequed Fish. You will always enjoy the consistency in their taste.
A place for proper authentic Chinese food. It's fresh, perfectly spicy, oil- free and delicious. The ambiance is pleasant and the service is friendly.
The top things to try out are the dimsums, the dry crab fry, the honey coated waffles in the dessert spread. Must visit!

Family place

This restaurant is really fancy, from elaborate decor to the chic ambiance, it is very likeable. Mainland China works just fine for a family dinner. They have some really good chicken dimsums, I ordered a repeat. I called for some chicken in oyster sauce as well. A meal for four costs around 2500 or so. The service is really good too.

Awesome Chinese with great taste

The Chinese decor is welcoming and the staff are truly friendly. The seating is good and offers space without too much crowding between tables. The food is excellent and their pepper sauce based main course dishes with freshly ground pepper though a tad spicy is a must try. Crispy corn chilly is also an amazing starter along with which we ordered Shanghai veg spring roll and dimsum which also tasted very good. Their golden garlic fried rice is a winner too. The service and presentation are praise worthy.

If its Chinese, its Mainland China

Mainland China has innumerous number of dishes to offer. The schezwan noodles and the sweet corn chicken soup are my favorites. The venue is classic and royal. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The chef’s special meal is a must try. The service was prompt even though the restaurant was full. At no point were we disappointed. If its Chinese its mainland china….

Not the Best Chinese I have had

Mainland Chinese isn't the best Chinese that I have had had. The gravy for the chicken manchurian & Veg manchurian essentially taste the same and the only way to tell them apart is by actually tasting them & checking which is which and that's a total disaster for the vegetarians. The service could be better and faster. Ambiance is OK OK not that great. Exorbitant rate for food that tastes almost the same. The only thing I liked was the soup. Definitely not value for money.

Great Food & Service

Mainland China is known for its exceptional Chinese cuisine, and this particular outlet of the restaurant lives up to its reputation. The place is well-maintained, spic and span, and the ambience is quite nice. The food, right from the starters (especially : dim sums) to the main course to the desserts, is just great. The crispy vegetables / crispy chicken dishes are just great and worth a try. Staff is friendly and will attend to all your questions / requests to the extent possible. Sometimes you have to wait a lot for your order, but the food is really worth the wait. If you are considering trying this place out, go right ahead - you wont be disappointed.

Good Food @ a Price.

Let me Keep this review Short and Sweet. The Place : Awesome , though seems a little hidden from the Outside world. The Service : Quite Good. The lady at the entrance always greets you with a smile and drops you to a table of your choice. The Menu-Cards : iPads are used as Menu-cards. Impressive. The Food : Tasty Food. If i could i would change the Prices though , a little costly but the Ambiance is probably also what they charge for. The Chicken Dumplings Steamed is a must-try. Overall : Good place to go for some occasion with someone with a lot of cash ;)

A must visit!

I absolutely love the ambience at this MLC. It’s oriental and spacious. I went there on my mum’s birthday and the staff came out and sang for her with a guitar and gave us a complementary birthday cake slice – which was quite thoughtful. The lighting is beautiful and pleasing to the eye. The hospitality and the heavenly food is what will keep you coming back for more! The service is fast and the waiters would bring complementary jasmine green tea whenever you wanted. I love this place, a must visit!

Surprisingly an Average buffet…

Mainland China does keep up to its standards when it comes to service and the ambience but the food was terrible. They boast of an authentic Chinese cuisine, but it seemed to have been customised for the Indian palate.

To begin with the starters were over spiced making it difficult to differentiate. At one point in time, I wasn’t sure if I was eating a piece of chicken, fish or just a potato.

Too much seafood in the main course for my liking, most of which was undercooked. The rice and noodles were as bland as the soup we started off with.

The only saving grace in my opinion was the bite sized desserts. Loved the ice-cream and the fresh fruit, not much one can go wrong with.

All in all, a very disappointing meal, having shelled out quite a bit. I may not be visiting here again soon.
