This place is over hyped. They claim to have really good cupcakes and they have really tiny cupcakes which are not at all special. They have a variety of macarons too but they are soo expensive.

They dont taste too bad but they are so small and so expensive that we dont even feel like eating them, just frame them and hang them on the wall.

Tastefully done space

Le 15 Patisserie – the name is bit difficult to spell and the place is also difficult to find. It’s a blink-and-you-miss sort of place. But I love how the place is tastefully done.

The pastries are all very colorful and delicious looking. Taste-wise they are pretty good with each color giving you a unique flavor. Their macaroons are definitely worth a try, even if you are not a macaroon lover. My favourite macaroon being, the Sea Salt and the Chocolate one. Do try the Hazelnut Choux and the Nutella brownie, both are fresh, full of chocolate and delightfully yummy. How I wish they had a branch in Andheri - Goregaon.

Happiness comes in small packets

I am big big fan of Le patisserie. Mind blowing variety of cupcakes Amazingly soft and just melts in your mouth. My personal favourite is red velvet and Belgian chocolate. An assortment of macarons to choose from. if you are a chocolate crazy then do try their chocolate cake. I am short of words to describe it.Love the ambience, it has a Pinkish and a very fresh feel. The store is very small and easy to miss. So be focused when you look for it.Be it birthday cakes, cupcakes, macarons, choux pastry, everything is just perfect.

Dessert dynamite!

This place is sure to take your breath aaway, especially if you're a dessert fanatic. Le15 at Bandra is nestled in the tiny by lanes of pali and will surely make you smile seeing the picket fence and cute decor even before tasting the desserts!

One fine evening while after catching up for a meeting I dragged my friend to this dessert hole for a quick dose of sugar. I tried the famous Nutella brownies, red velvet cupcake and a chocolate ganache like pastry.

The Nutella is nothing like aanything! A reason to live for many, including me!! The portions are tad bit smaller for the price you pay but would I come back? Hell yeah!

I am a huge, huge dessert fan and Le 15 although expensive doesn't fail to impress me. The first ever macaron i ate was from this place. I ate the chocolate hazelnut and seasalt macaron which were more than delicious. The nutella brownie is another favorite.
They have so many options to offer, its so confusing to choose one. From the cupcakes, red velvet butter cream and belgian chocolate are the best.
The place is extremely. Le 15 has set up a standard that no new world bakery can beat, at least for now!

cute little place

cupcakes are so spongy and yum. the best dessert place in bandra, so cute chioc and sophisticated, the heavenly macaroons , a small place, the sea salt macaroon sounds different and is really good. the red velvet cakes, perfectly layered, a visual marvel, i felt i was in france. oreo cupcake is too good. if they had enough seating i would gain calories there all day.

Rightly said, one of the finest patisseries in Bandra. Everything that comes out of this place is light and delicious. Cupcakes that are soft and yum. The best macaroons I've had in Bombay. We were a group of 6 and I guess we had almost all the cupcakes, macaroons and tarts that were at the counter. Slightly heavy on the wallet especially if you wanna go for the cakes but worth the price. It is a tiny place for a large group so I suggest get a takeaway and enjoy in the comfort of your car/home.

The best patisserie in town...

I could just pronounce judgement by writing, the finest non-5 star hotel patisserie in town, but that would take away the pleasure of justifying the statement to all of you.

I've been following the Le15 story ever since they debuted in Lower Parel with 2 shops within a 100 mts of each other (at Good Earth and in Palladium) .Having heard a lot about the Cordon Bleu, Paris trained chef Pooja Dhingra, I used to frequent the Palladium outlet to gorge on the macaroons, till they came closer home to Bandra about a year back.

Not to put the other patisseries in town down, but I've frequently come across macaroons where the cookies are too crisp and brittle and extraordinarily sweet. My authority on that? Umm, I was born with an extra pair of sweet tooth maybe? Out here, semblance is the order of the day. They all look good, taste nice, and yes, you got to pay for quality, so they are a li'l more expensive than other places in Mumbai where you'd find one. Macaroons have been the trademark specialty of Le15 which bring me back over and over again. Try some of the off-beat flavours and tell me you did not like em. I like the Sea Salt macaroon the most, and the Paan, the Mint & Date and Hazelnut in no particular order after that.

I'm also a big fan of Red Velvet cakes, and ought to say this place is one of the the better one in Mumbai to deliver the goods on a nice Red Velvet cupcakes. Though I so wish they would also sell cake slice form of the Red Velvet in the future sometime. Again, try their various chocolate flavors, the Nutella one if you have a thing for Nutella or the Orange Dark Chocolate if you are happy to try contrasting flavors.

The latest addition to the menu has been the Choux pastries, which come in various flavors as well. I've tried the Chocolate Choux Pastry and more than once at that. Swing by, and try the stuff. I hope you'll love it as much as I do.

The beauty about being Le15 Bandra is also that this takes shape as a Parisian styled cafe with small seating indoors and outdoors, for you to be able to consume the products on the premises in a relaxed atmosphere. There is also coffee to go with it, if you so please, which is unique to this outlet and nowhere else.

On Tuesdays, you could also come by here in the evening for tasting other stuff from interesting kitchens around town which could be the next big thing on the Mumbai culinary scenario. Till then, enjoy their stuff.

Amazing Cupcakes

I've been piling on the calories, searching for amazing cupcakes at different bakeries around the city. But until recently, the calories were in vain.
Then I heard about Le15 Patisserie from a couple of friends and tried a lot of their cupcakes yesterday. Pure gluttony!
Their cupcakes are soooo worth those dreaded calories. The cake itself in moist, fluffy and tastes delicious. The icing topping is delish too.
The Red Velvet is divine. The Oreo and chunky chocolate cupcakes are really nice too. I intend to try the macaroons, the next time I visit.

I was soo exceptionally thrilled when it opened that I visited it atleast twice a week in the first month !!

Although I love everything on their Menu, I'm partial to the following:

Sea Salt Macaroon: 5/5 (Absolutely Divine)
Paan Macaroon: 5/5 (Refreshingly delightful)
Hazelnut Macaroon: 4/5
Chocolate Macaroon: 3/5
Rose Macaroon: 4/5
Coffee Macaroon: 5/5

Nutella Cupcake: 5/5 (Must Try) *****
Red Cupcake: 3/5 (Too Sweet for my liking !!)

Oh Sweet God!

So a colleague brought macroons and cupcakes from this place. Having a sweet tooth, gorged onto all the varieties, having tasting bites from all of the available flavors.

First up the macroons. One of the best that I have tried! the Cappuccino walnut was amazing. Also tried the orange flavor, which was not that good, but reasonably ok.

The cupcakes were a winner. The sticky chocolate cupcake was just too good! Though the pricing is little towards the expensive side, but the taste is pretty good.

A piece of Paris in Bandra

Just when we thought we couldn't get enough of the tiny outlet at Palladium, le 15 had to go and open right behind my house in Bandra. Tucked away on the leafy Ambedkar road, this little patisserie really does remind me of Paris. Delicious macaroons in beautiful flavours (my favourite is the sea salt, really, try it and you'll know) or the red velvet cupcakes. Thankfully my husband knows nothing earns him brownie points quicker or better than a box of le 15 macaroons!!

A trip to a patisserie in Paris!

If it were in my hands, I'd sneak into the place someday and steal all the macaroons if no one was watching! Dark chocolate macaroon, Nutella macaroon, they simply have all of it! The macaroons look so cute that one isn't sure whether to eat them or simply keep looking at them. Also, try the Belgian chocolate cupcake. It's yummy and gooey! I particularly love how the place looks, it's tiny and looks like a tiny cafe in Paris.

At that price, one would expect more. Well, I did

Cupcake and Macaroon place. Small sized and priced at 50 bucks a cupcake doesn't please much.

Since my first time, I had the Red Velvet so that I could compare a chocolate cupcake just to make sure I'm not gonna leave in disgust.

Red velvet was all sugar, Real sweet and cold. It didn't feel fresh at all. Bad.

The chocolate cupcake on the other hand was nice and fresh, the chocolate all fresh and gooey.

At that price, one would expect more. Well, I do.
