One of my favourite veg restaurants

BouganVilla is the unchallenged restaurant option in Ghatkopar when it comes to family dinners. Visited this place atleast five times by now. I must say the ambience is the trump card. This is one place where i prefer taking some table at the side b'coz that does not compromise on the decor as well as keeps me away from the chatter.

It is North Indian cuisine most of the times for us. We did try the Nachos with cream sauce which turned out to be fairly average. I again come back to the North Indian delicacies....nailed it with a Paneer lasooni tikka. You cannot miss on a generous helping of Dal tadka, be it with rotis or rice. I like to gorge on a paneer sabzi with the Dal...leaving little room for anything further. So we generally end it with a dal khichdi.

BouganVilla is a cozy place where i do not hesitate to go when I am in the mood for veg. I hope they keep the quality to satiate my tastebuds for a long time.

Interesting food

BouganVilla makes Indian food interesting just with its menu. It has wide variety of multi-cuisines to offer.

It is totally affordable and worth every penny spent for the quality .It is a classy fine dining family restaurant. Paneer Crackling Spinach and Corn Chilli Crostini are my favorite serves. Butter Roomali Roti is perfectly soft and thin crust.

A perfect example of luxury dining which is pocket friendly as well

Elite Feel

It’s a place of decent décor with elite feel. From Oriental to Italian and Mexican to north Indian everything is serve dhere. The starters are a cracker. Brocolli soup was yummy. Must have is their lasagne totally loved it. kehkashan kofta steal the thunder. Tava pulav came sizzling hot and very delicious. The ambiance is quite peaceful. However the desserts are not to exciting with stale taste.

Bouganvilla has an amazing selective dishes on their menu,I like their dum biryani, It is totally awesome. I wipe off the plate literally with fingers and lick it. I would like to suggest all people who want to eat Punjabi and mughali food should go to bouganvilla, and top most thing, food is served by trained and professional waiters who never miss to take feedback about the food you are having. Excellent food, Excellent hospitality.

Restaurant with Value for Money

The best restaurant in ghatkopar serving Punjabi food. The taste and variety which bouganvilla is serving nobody can beat, at least in ghatkopar area. Of course value-for-money is slightly suspect but it is fine. They do judgement with their price by offering sanitizer to your table and serving complimentary bread stick with yummy dip. You can go any number of times but still not tire.

Italian Food Festival

I got to know about Italian Food Festival from my friend when we were looking for some continental food to eat .The ambience which is created at this restaurant is much better than any typical Italian or Continental restaurant. There is sufficient seating arrangement and the staff is very friendly.

After finishing our meal, we got a small surprise by our waiter, it was a magic bowl, in which we have to pick one coupon, so I picked up a coupon and got Rs. 100 off on my food bill. We were very happy with this idea, a good innovative thinking.
While leaving we have found a Italian Shop which was made just for Italian festival, we found good collection of items on shop, although I haven’t purchase anything from the shop but we like the idea and we mingle for some time near shop.
I will definitely visit this restaurant again before the festival ends because the food is awesome!!!!!!

I enjoy eating their Veg. Amritsari, Paneer Sizzler and Choco Lava Cake.

The service is excellent and the staff is extremely polite and well manners.

Good Food, Good ambience

Food @ Bougan is really good and all variety is really good and happening. Service is good and fast. Even the jain variety is equally tasty and good. Had some amazing food. Even the buffet lunch is really nice with quite good options for different foods.

Just on weekends because of rush it tends to get little more noisy and cramped. else its fantastic place to be

Uncles drinking place

Bougan villa is located right opposite Ghatkopar Station. With very few fine dining places in Ghatkopar Bougan Villa can be counted as one. Under the management of Garden Court food had to be good. They start with their crispy roomali with roomali roti sprinkled with masala as in the masala papad. It tasty and healthy to have. Punjabi is their cooking genre and the fresh flavours are very significant in their dishes. Crowded on weekends this place has a problem in the weekdays. Its full of business gujarati people sipping on alcohol. The chakna goes on and on for creating a different environment all together.

Boss, It's a great place!

I am a hard core vegetarian and that's the speciality of Bogun Villa. I had gone there on invitation from my cousins. Actually I am not fond of eating out but Bogun Villa changed my perspective. They have something for everybody. We enjoyed lovely Indian food (My uncle got something made in Jain style!) and our next generation was mad over Pizzas, Pastas & what not!

Overall, it was a superb experience especially because of the personal touch of the Manager. I just felt like visited a friend's house (especially when I did't have to pay the bill!).

Ghano Saras Chhe!

We had visited BouganVilla on my wedding anniversary. First of all it is strategically located near Ghatkopar station and hence all my guests were happy who came by train and had no worries of 'Don't Drink & Drive'!

This is the best place for Gujjus like us who want to drink seldom but never visit restaurant serving non-veg food. Thanks to Garden Court group for being so thoughtful about Ghatkoparians.

The rates are moderate and food is excellent. They serve lot of varieties in veg food so that our kids are also happy and my parents also were satisfied. A real 'family restaurant'.

Wonderful Experience!

I had visited BouganVilla with my guests from USA. My guests were thrilled to have such a lovely Restaurant in Ghatkopar (Gujju area) and great service.

Bougan Vila team celebrated my birthday on our table in such a manner that I just felt 'on top of the world' and my guests felt that I am a regular customer there and that is why restaurant manager has done all this, but as a matter of fact it was my first visit on good word from my colleague!

Opps, I forgot to thank enough the restaurant team. I'll definitely visit there once again and do it..

They should name the place COCKROACH VILLA

We were a group of seven adults and six kids. Visited this restaurant for dinner on 15th September for dinner. We had just ordered the soups and starters. My son ordered a plate of Paneer Tikka and just as he finished half of it, a cockroach (live) appeared on his plate and nicely moving around in the plate. He screamed and we brought it to the notice of the waiter (Captain, the one with a suit and a tie) and he just took the plate away. No apologies, no sorry, nothing. So we said that we do not wish to eat here anymore and asked for the bill. Courtesy demands that they should at least not charge us for the Paneer Tikka which was cockroach playground, but too our dismay they charged for it. Theek hai, we didn't care, we didn't argue and we paid for the bill vowing not to enter this restaurant again and also we all decided to make it a point of telling all the people we know that never to enter this restaurant, unless of course they want to see live cockroaches dancing on their plates. Anyway, while leaving we told their chief captain that at least they should apologize and the least they could do was not to charge us for just that plate of Paneer Tikka. We were quite shocked at the captain's attitude, he mentioned that it is not our fault, cockroach BAHAR se aaya tha? I think they do not know what pest control is, an if their main dining area is such then god only knows how their kitchen area would be. I was quite appalled by the callous attitude of their staff and just because hey have many patrons visiting them, they don't care for such 'SMALL' issues. So please visit this insect zoo at your own peril.

Though the place is supposed to be famous for its food and ambienece, I never had great time as far as food is concerned. I kept visiting couple of times thinking my next experience will be good as last time it was Sunday. But it never worked out.

I never ever got that taste in their food, more kind of a blend. The dished that were recommended to us, were far below average. Also the quantity compared to the price they charge is way less.

Overall - not satisfied at all.

The worst restaurants i have ever been in. Trust me the service is bad, the food is bad, and the place is bad. We were nine of us and they charged us for ten people, because one of my friend came for just 5 minutes. On top of it we found cockroach in our ice cream.
Guys dont even think of trying this place....

Way better than expected

yesterday i had been to this restaurant..i had heard that its a pretty good place for punjabi food..i was expecting it to be so good..

ambience :- the place is hugeee...with dim lights and really good interiors..with soft music in the back ground..on a monday night it was almost packed

service :- service was like wow..waiters escorted us to our table..helped me in choosing the main course n were very polite..absolutely loved their service

food:- it has got thai food, pizza, lasange and punjabi food...we called for jalapeno cheese popers and paneer starter...jalapeno popers was a huge disappointment..no salt..hardly any cheese..panner starter was good..tomato with orange soup was good as well.. bougan special or something like that. mocktail was the best..
main course we called for some kofta (not de normal malai kofta) it was too good and some other panner subzi even that was really nice...over all the food was awesome except for poppers..

meal for five with 2 soups, 2 starters, 2 subzi, 2 mocktails and rotis came to 1650..with was definitely worth it...must go place..you are surely in for a surprise :-)

Excellent Food

I had gone with least expectations seeing the location but was surprised with good quality & variety of food.. Should try their Mushroom Cappuccino soup.

Good food but OK service

I had been to Bougan Villa on my birthday. The experience was good. The waiters came to know it is my birthday; so they got a pastry for me, with a candle on it, and suddenly the B'day song was played, and all the waiters nearby gathered around our table to cheer & wish me. They even clicked a snap, which they sent on my email id.
Now regarding the food, me & my parents liked both Jain & Non - Jain options. We had a good 12 course meal we started with soup, starters, then main course, Chinese, Punjabi, Thai, Pastas all was good, even the desert was good.
I would recommend this hotel to my friends; also I might visit it soon.

hopeless and pathetic

services worse, food worst.I ordered for paneer in red gravy,it came in yellow. They changed that in less than a minute,on asking he replied they just added red colour to it . i wondered about the guts of the manager to say that they just add different colour to dish and did not have the clue of whats the difference. its an absolute thumbs down for this place.
