Baroke is situated at the Hotel Krishna Palace at grant road Mumbai, let's do a quick Review FAQ of Baroke :-
What exactly is baroke? Is it fine dine/lounge/club?
Baroke is a bit of both a lounge and a club. It is a lounge which serves really good food and also doubles up as a club on the weekends.
Why not goto the already established clubs rather than going to baroke?
Baroke has a different style. Unlike other clubs they don't have over-price sub-par food products. They serve quality good with good music and a super ambience.
Good food? I heard good food?
Yes, they have changed the management and also the a new chef has been bought in to revamp the image baroke wants to portray. Following are some.must trys here:-
Pulled apart garlic bread -- I ll never ever ever miss this here. Super highly recommend. The pulled apart garlic bread is a rich combination of cheese butter and garlic smeard bread. Those who think there is no such thing as too much cheese or too much butter should definitely definitely be ordering this.
Wolf’s Shepard's pie -- Don't let the name distort you. It's nothing but a scintillating combination of kheema pav Bhaji. Yes you heard it right. Pav Bhaji with kheema added in it and made to Uber perfection.
Flower pot -- The flower pot is an earthen pot filled with layers of dark chocolate and the pot adorned a red rose on the top. A symbol of love for a pot filled with food love.
How is the Ambience?
Baroke has a grand look. It has got big massive tables and still the place looks spacious. It has a huge sitting area with various types of chairs and stools to sit on. There is a grand book shelf which albiet a bit out of place is a delight to look at.
Why not? It has great ambience and has upped it's ante when it comes to food. It can be used as a bar or as lounge. I am sure many people will go here for the food too.
Baroke has been there since a long time. But it's completely new. With a new look, new management and a new menu. Go there and try it out with a new spectrum in mind... Bon Appétit
