Best avoided 2012-04-28
Zela pretends to be a luxury health center, but it's just a small gym. It's overcrowded and far too overpriced. The trainers are not helpful and stand around talking to each other. There aren't many machines, and the free-weights area is always a mess. Bathrooms are slippery, dirty, and frequently they run out of towels so I have to shower at home. The management always tries to sell me things like 'ion balance bracelets' and 'fit-vibe training'... please, how stupid do they think I am? -

overcrowded and not so nice gym with bad music 2012-01-16
zela keeps getting worse. i cannot even cum anymore because there are so many other ppl. there are ppl on every machine, stretching in every area, and waiting in line to take showers. the other day i waited 20 minutes to get in a shower. i used 2 go 2 yoga class but it gets so filled that ppl cum on the floor in between each other and do not even use mats because they run out. this is not relaxing. there is less equipment than golds gym, but zela charges much more. management says there is cafe but there is no cafe. the showers have dirty floors and are missing tiles and the soap dispensers never... read more -

Should be better 2011-11-19
Zela has a lot of potential that it doesn't live up to it. The facility is new and clean, but has a limited selection of equipment and is often uncomfortably full. During weekday mornings and evenings, it becomes so crowded that all the machines are occupied and there is a line for the showers in the locker room. They should not keep pushing memberships if the facilities cannot accomodate them.
I've noticed lately that Zela suffers from some hygiene problems. For example, the showers have mold around the stalls, each water coolers has only one shared cup, and the machines are rarely wiped... read more -
