  • A little store with huge charm Mar 15, 2013

    Well curated little store. Loved the clothes, and most other accessories available here. These guys do best of what independent stores do, one-off collections, at a pretty good price, and rather good quality and design. I thought the Chumbak stuff was a bit cheesy, Chinese quality make with sweat shop designs, with no innovation in last five years. Brass Tacks and Black Sheep labels were pretty interesting. The baskets were excellent. Had an overdose of eye candy, in such small space.

    Well spent experience. And, the place is not for teeny bopper crowd on a limited budget:)

    So i just walked into yellow button on a lazy lunch break. My first impression - overpriced for no reason. I believe in paying fairly but this was just robbery. I really liked a top and asked the cost, the owner says its 1200. Let me explain the top. It was a plain kalamkari top with a gauzy layer above. Nothing special, no effort into design or execution. And i asked her for a discount, she said no. Not just that she goes on call and loudly says - "people ask me for discount how can i give them any" . Very ill mannered.     This place is awesome!! with funky collection. If anyone remebers Orange bicycle which is very close to yellow button, it is more or less the same stuff. But credits of Yellow button for managing such a store with such little space. NICe collection.
