If u want to attend a weddin n pay for it, this is d place 2 be.. Very crowded, heavy music, hardly can u hear urself..... Their logo - "restaurant nahi anubhav hai", its certainly an experience i wish to forget.. All servings r so small, i have lot to learn when i start a resto as 2 how to save.money..... Food quality is awful, golgoppas used old puris, pav bhaji without onions, no cutlery nd platez to even have food at times... Sweet stall had no visitorz bcoz it hardly had ny sweets... If u r misssin wedddin coz u dont get invites, visit this place! -

Great ambiance and Food 2012-03-26
I liked the food there. Most of the starters were good and they had authentic north indian taste. I enjoyed the food. Another thing is that they had huge variety in their buffet menu.
Service was fast. I didn't have to wait for anything. Its definitely not a fine dining restaurant but I liked the ambiance. The combination of style and colors is awesome. Definitely worth a visit. -

I had heard of the Village restaurant in Ahmedabad but could never get a chance to dine in. I tried it in the Bangalore Village restaurant for my lunch. It has a great ambience for a mini party. Typical village fair with lot of noise of music and dhol. It's not a fine dining restaurant. It is the best place to go along with a big group. There are various counters (carts) serving different types of food. There is a cart for peanuts and chana jor garam at the entrance. There is another cart for chats and one for pani puri. This place is seriously fun ,for the first timer.Great concept and fairly good execution.You pay for the buffet on the gate and once inside you can savor the food from 7-8 counters.The whole place is done up like a village with fake barber shop/school/jail etc.The variety is huge.Some key items are as follows
chats,masala peanuts,6-7 veg dishes,biriyani/curd rice/normal rice,pav bhaji,dal bati churma,dosas,pakoras,all kinds of kulchas and nans,4 types of mithais etc.
The price what you pay for all this is 300 ,which i feel is fairly VFM for the place and food.
