I just read the review immediately below mine, and I must say I agree. The beer at Pecos is super-diluted. Now, it's cheap, but when I can get beer at the MRP in a 'wine shop', I don't think anything justifies this practice. There are no bottles or cans, everything comes from the tap, so the brewery (UB) can't exercise much quality control. So there's no point drinking here, though the food is pretty good. Pecos is a cultish place, and the service is very friendly. But definitely avoid the beer at all costs.

Want to be Quick Gun Murugan and order masala dosa, sambhar and whiskey? Pecos is your place! Except you get great dosa and chicken curry and some vague ass tasting liquid they call beer. Go to Pecos if you like being around a stuck up crowd, gazing at 'classic' posters, listening to the same music over and over and over again and imbibing the above mentioned liquid. But do yourself a favour by getting smashed at Brigade Fuel next door before walking in.

wow! this is the place to be if you are a hippie kinds. someone said about pecos " the real party begins here man. rest of all the places are just joking themselves". true to its spirit pecos serves the freshest draught beer [ well we will have to settle down for that piss like kingfisher ] we can't get any better beer than this. this place really has a character. the people who come there, the way they dress up, the music they listen to [ you can get to hear stuff like grateful dead, jefferson airplane, rare earth, the who, the beatles, and so on and so forth. but. lemme tell you one thing. this is a one of a kind place. keep going there. pecooooooooooooooooos.

This is that cultish place you've always craved for. Yeah, beer, chocolate and pop-corn on a platter. No officiating bearers to trouble you and absolutely no silence. This is for the unmannered and the undone. Go guzzzling and singing here. You and yours can go take a high here! Seriously!!

This was one of the first places I visited when I moved to Bangalore a few years back. And over the years, it has become my favourite. But be warned, this one is for music and beer lovers only! You get the freshest draught here, and very reasonably priced. The music is classic rock, from the 60's and 70's.
The food is an added plus!
For people not into this type of music, this place will not appeal. The place is small, and not flashy.
For music lovers only!
