Nice place

It's really nice to see such a pleasant place in JP Nagar. The sandwiches and croissants are very tasty. You can spend a nice time here with family or friends. The place sometimes gets a little over-crowded in the evenings

Gelato icecreams are here too!

Finally the gelato ice cream counter opened here. Try the Ferro Rocher gelato or the Tiramisu gelato. Yummy!!

Refreshing addition to JP Nagar

Agree with previous reviewer - I am tired of driving to Koramangala to eat healthy sandwiches, and I am so glad this Daily Bread outlet opened up. The location is really nice - a bit away from the dust of Bannerghatta road but central enough with a lovely residential area behind it. It seems very popular with paying guests - there are tonnes of pgs in that part of JP Nagar. In addition, Daily Bread seems to be expanding and has added on a coffee and expresso bar. Delucas gelatos is also slated to open a counter here - but the management is not sure exactly when yet.

The sandwiches are as usual excellent. The Madras panini sandwich is yummy - chicken and vegetables with a zing of pickle. Believe me - it works. Other worthy choices are the club sandwich and the cottage cheese and corn wrap with salsa. The coffee here is ok - not fantastic but since I am so thankful to have this place nearby, I will not complain too much.

The desserts look fantabulous - the valentine - a heart-shaped (I know , I know - but my little daughter picked it) strawberry flavoured mousee is light and luscious.

Service has a long way to go to reach high standards - but since they are in training mode - I hope for improvement in the future.

All in all - an excellent pit stop in JP Nagar.

Best Cafe in Jaynagar & JP Nagar

We made an unexpected stop at the new Daily Bread that opened up at J.P.Nagar (next to Shekar Netralaya) and discovered a place full of treats. Stepping into the crisp, cool store was a relief from the harsh, dusty landscape . Though i was disappointed that they didn't have Deluca's gelatto (they have it at the church st. outlet) i was more than consoled by the sight of daintly little pralines and pastries.

This is one of the few places that has a full-fledged coffeeshop (coffees, sandwiches), bakery (all kinds of bread), chocolate shop (need i say more) and at the same time has the relaxed atmosphere of a cafe.
We sat in one of the tables near the giant windows and had a luxurious "Classic Opera" - a gourmet chocolate pastry with a light coffee flavor - along with veg bruschetta..the view may be nothing to write home about, but the food certainly was.

Check out the enticing "Tiramisu in Chocolate Tart" and "Mango Coconut Cream Dome". Also on display were chocolates with creme and fruit centers. We took home some biscotti and a few slices of banana walnut cake...biscotti was ok, cake was great.
Overall, it makes for a good hangout in these parts of the city.
