Whenever I go here I feel like I've left Bangalore and ended up on some side street in Seoul. It's like a family-run restaurant.
The atmosphere is not fancy but it's authentic. The open-air terrace is pleasant, even if the lighting is a little harsh.
The food, however, keeps me coming back. Good main dishes and superb sides--little dishes of such a variety of flavors.
We haven't had a bad dish there, but there are some better than others. Let the owner help you pick something.
Try it out. I think you'll like it.. we do.

My experience with Korean food has been limited to what's been available in Korean restaurants in the US so I don't claim know what 'authentic' Korean food tastes like...but we ordered the chilly pork and BBQ pork along with some pork fried rice...
the 'pre-marinated' BBQ pork was cooked on a grill in front of us but was quite bland and chewy....the chilly pork was better but i felt the sauce needed to be tangier instead of just being spicy...the pork friend rice turned out to be the best dish...
the service though was EXCELLENT and being on the 4th floor, u get a great view of the city (especially at night)...the cinnamon syrup dessert was great to end the whole experience...
PS: this restaurant is no longer in Kormangala...its moved to Wind Tunnel Rd!!

It has excellent food, but you need to know what to order. I personally never liked the Korean preperation of seafood. I have my favorite dishes which I repeat and have never been dissapointed. The kimchis are amazing and you feel satisfied but never heavy at the end of the meal.

I've been to Soo Ra Sang 3 times and I had great dishes every time. The food is authentic and it should be since it is owned and run by a Korean lady! You'll find the clientele to be mostly Korean - another good sign of authentic food. The ambience is nice - not extremely Korean but it is clean and pleasant. My favorite was the various barbecues done right at our table served with a delicious assortment of small side dishes and condiments. Everything is cooked to perfection.
One dish will serve one person and varies between Rs 250 for vegetarian to Rs 500 for the barbecues and seafood dishes. There is no concept of starters for koreans, so your final bill will end up being not low, but pretty reasonable.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Bangalore. Not to be missed!
