Just Coffee and Conversations!

I am not one of those people who love hanging around coffee shops indulging in coffee and conversations. Yet, this Barista coffee shop at the Barton Centre on M.G. Road in Bangalore really treated me with the right kind of music and a beautiful ambiance on a lazy evening.

What delighted me was the beauty of a serene recess that this open air coffee shop offers from the traffic humdrum right in the heart of M.G. area. I took to my heart’s content the gentle breeze and the peppy music along with fun filled company and great coffee. Here I am, gladly thanking Barista for the great time I had there.

A step inside can assure you a great time if you are with the right company. The music is just apt for a chilled out discussion with good pals. But make sure you give the order at the counter, for rarely you find any waiters roaming with the Menu. We sat there for an hour happily chatting and no one offered us Menu, and slowly it dawned on us that its a self-service coffee shop. :-)

Coffee, Conversations, Breeze and Music, just apt for my idea of a perfect evening.

My first hangout place in bangalore

I remember 3 years back when i landed in bangalore,i went to Barista mgroad and was a bit surprised to see the different varities of a cafes they provide.Iwas from cochin and didnt have any previous experience of drinking more than a cold cafe.So i looked into the Menu board and saw an interesting name..Italian delight.Wow i thought something special from Italy, let me try it out.I had a craze for italian food those days,so i thought why dont i try an italina cafe. But to my surprise and i should say it was very kind that the guy at the counter told me,sir It's a 'Black coffe without milk' and to my embrassment i identified how porsche a life in bangalore was since they were charging a coffe without milk around 25 bugs whereas in my hometown i used it to get it for 5 bugs.Anyway i thought i will spend money and drink something with milk,so had a cold cafe shake,my favourite now.Once used to bangalore you never mind how much a cafe costs, you mind how good it is and how warm is the place from you have it.Definitely barista is a cool place to hangout in bangalore and this is a place where you can meet a variety of people which is one reason i would love to visit this place

Good Strong Coffee

Unlike most other baristas this one only has outdoor seating and its very pleasant when not too packed. I prefer the barista coffees over cafe coffee day anyway but this particular outlet makes really strong coffee.. just the way i like it! :)

Love the Barista

I simply love the Barista. They have a good selection of coffee and their service is fast enough. Their cappuccino's are the best. I stop by often on my way home to grab a cappuccino and to reflect on the day that went by.

A word of caution: don't buy the sanwiches. I tried it once and had a bad stomach the next day.
