Best View

To start of, it was not planned, we just thought of taking a sneak-peak inside 13thFloor, and viola, we find the most amazing view!!! Bangalore looks beautiful from up there!!

It was around 6:30, weather was perfect, it had just rained, and there was a rainbow across the green fields, what more could u ask for!!!

It has two sections, interiors are sophisticated & comfortable, and external ambiance is stylish yet simple... I would recommend sitting outside!!

Started of with a dry martini and a kamakoze and ended with amazing tandoori chicken, Chicken Tikka (Called as something else) is highly recommended!!!

Perfect place for a date!!

Nice view of the city...

Service bad, most of the time over crowded, needs prior booking...

13th Floor, no other options in B'lore

Since you don't have any other option in Bangalore, I mean a good "Fine Dine" place on a high rise, 13th floor stills the show.

Service is awful, food is just OK, and actually the expectation was much higher as I heard much about this place.

But if you have already been to some of those places like the Pearl of Orient at The Ambassador, Mumbai (the revolving roof top restaurant on Marine Drive) or at the Deck, The Crown at Residency Tower, Chennai, you will be disappointed with the view, the class, the quality of food and services you get on 13th floor.

I can blame to myself only!!

Citadel Magic

There aren't too many bars around Southern India that may be termed 'magical'. The Waterfront in Hyderabad and The Harbour Room in Colombo come to mind. If you're in Bangalore, however, do come to The 13th Floor. These people really have a great thing going at the Barton Center. On one side, Ebony. On the other, the 13th floor. As you may already have gathered, no place offers a view of Bangalore as wonderful as this.

I really don't know about the food. Must be good, considering the Ebony association. My advice is, grab a bottle of KF and sit on a bench hugging the parapet. Or a Long Island Iced Tea. The music is retro-cool, and the view of a bejewelled Bangalore coupled with a cool breeze will ensure that you never forget this place.

Charming, enigmatic to all senses..

...Yes your tongue won't be spared either 1

!3th floor...my my...what can be said about this ethereal place...utmost romantic lounge with a surpassing view of MG road ..
I walked in around 8 and the place was nearly full and smoke filled. Across the balustrade i see a view of bangalore like i had never seen before...a road with a few glittering moving lights of the vehicles, silhouette of buildings with a few lit up apts. and of trees.
the most obvious choice of table was along the parapet. A mild pollution free breeze running through your hair and slow songs..perfect sky lounge

I ordered for a long island ice tea and asked the steward to keep it strong and delicious and so it was. one the best ones i have had ;)

next for starters i ordered for chicken dish*(apologies for being unable to recollect the name...) and requested that my order should be tender chicken... in some time my dish arrives..looks delectable(the candle light made it glow "wink" "wink") and with the slightest effort it smoothly can be cut with a fork!!! voila! As I put it in the mouth i realize my taste buds are in for a treat..a chicken so tender, juicy and succulent...it so smoothly melted in the mouth....the dainty was extremely pleasing to the gastronomical senses.

I loved the place, the courteous people beautiful ambiance and delicious food...a rare combination..

It is advisable to make a reservation in advance, esp. for weekends cause there is no table available( well, for obvious reasons...)

A meal for two would cost 800-1200 atleast thats for the weekends where they have cover charges of 400bucks per head.

I would highly recommend it that one must visit it if not much then atleast once.

psst...they also arrange for a cake and bouquet if you want to give a surprise to your spl. someone...

It is a good place to unwind, relax, catch up with old friends, spend some quality time with your friends/spouse/partners.

Hope you enjoy as much as I did :)

Till then,
Cheers
Bon Vivant!!!
