Just back today from a place that has been talked about a lot. I was looking forward to going and a collaegue booked a table for 7 of us today.
I have obviously caught them on the wrong day , because this was one of the worst dining experiences I have had .
Old Sunnys or not, climbing up the staircase to the third floor got me off on the wrong foot , I could not understand why as there were tables in the lower floors available .
It was Onam , so my colleagues ordered chicken and fish thalis. Adventurous today , I decided to go with the pandhi curry and paratha , as the waiter had recommended it highly .
Odd katoras of the thali keep trooping in - why would you overflow 6 plastic bowls on a plastic dinner plate , forget about the rice and call it a thali - I am quite lost.
While I wait , and wait and wait , with thunder gathering on my brow, while all my friends are half way through their food, my order does not arrive.I have a conference call to connect to and am getting increasingly irritable. I am told 2 minutes every time I ask. Thats 12 questions and its already 40 minutes. The manager/owner comes by from wherever he is doing his accounts, and asks me to bear with with them . I am afraid I waws not my usual sunny self with him. Quite categorically .
When I finally get the order , I am quite simply ravenous . I have partially eaten my paratha, plain . The pandhi curry is over -black , overspiced, completely oily , and the masala undercooked. Even the pork is completely undercooked , and yucky. Net-net , its completely inedible. And all this after a 40 minute wait.
The rest of the team said food was so-so/kinda okay , but mine was sincerely awful.
Service , and food uniformly terrible.
I belive they are normally great .
Me?
Never coming back ,sorry .

Just 5-10 minutes from MG Road is this heaven for seafood/coastal cuisine lovers. Run by a young couple who are very passionate about their food and their clientele, 3Storys has a nice, simple laid back ambience, aptly running through 3 storys of the restaurant - and my first choice for coastal cuisine in Bangalore!
Recommendations:
* Fish meal - Weekdays ~ Rs.100
* Veg meal - Weekdays ~ Rs.80
* Kadlai Curry
* Seer fish curry
* Appam and stew
* Kerala parathas - super!
* The dal which comes with the meal - unmissable.
* Bibinca and/or Dodol (Goan speciality desserts)
Choose the third level - almost a reminiscent of Goa!
