Though this place may seem somewhat unfriendly to people who're not much into rock music,i just loved this place being a classic rock fan.
Though other pubs like styx do play metal,i like the fact that the vjs here play a lot of the classic stuff.(i think vj wud be the right word as they have 2 screens where they play music videos!) Its like as advertised, they play hendrix, doors, floyd and yeah metal too.
So other than the environment, which for me is a portal to musical nirvana, the drinks are also priced reasonably.
Anyways,a perfect place to hang out on weekends esp if you want to fly, dope and drown in music.(too exhausted to write more, just came back from there!)

People go there for Heavy Metal some say. I don’t know much. Rock Music is the only thing I consider myself illiterate about though. The only thing I know about are the Firsts of it like Elvis or the Beatles, guys who first put it up on the screen. In the same way Haze was a first as it played host to my first Pub visit at Bangalore.
The occasion as I remember was a small college get-together with couple of girls sipping breezers, few having a stupid mix of beer-white rum-white wine and a couple of guys having apple juice just for the sake of sipping something. As I have started on the beverages let me wrap on them first. All the regular stuff is quite regular I would say. Bloody Mary and Cosmopolitan are among the better ones than other pubs on Brigade, and and and Beer is much much cheaper. About the rest eatables etc. are regular(difficult to dig out on routine things sometimes). I would advice though to club the trip with a long walk ending up at Corner House and then munch loads of Death By Chocolate. It tastes much better after Liquor.
Now the rest, the place feels like maybe a ROCK near Gondor somewhere on Middle Earth, atleast the Haze suggests so, living upto the name of the place. And the Huge TV sets playing loud music somehow gel with the Purple Haze around you. It seems as the Light moulds the spaces rather than the structure itself (limited knowledge of aesthetic concerns…). But for me to sit there singing Broken lyrics and see some people going bonkers over it, I get the feel that it’s the Haze that hits you.
