This place is just awesome for north-indian food, specially good with some nice parathas [i like chilli/gobhi/muli].
However experience with home-deliever just 1km from this place turned out to be HORRIBLE three times in a row!! some serious work needed here. Last time the guy sent atleast different order altogether. Hope these guys improve the delivery material so that things don't spill out of the boxes.

Great Food. They serve it real fast. Its rates very high on taste and authenticity. I would go so far as to say that it is almost like 'Home cooked food'. And it is reasonable.
There is a real dearth of places serving authentic north indian fare in bangalore. Those who ache for their basic rajma, kadi, dal makhni and paneer usually end up in their pet punjabi restaurant (which comes at its own price) or at Bobby's or Lalitha's.
Mast Kalandar is happy marriage of a typical dhaba-like authentic food served in a restauarnt ambience (with clean cutlery and clean glasses.)
Its a great option for a quick office lunch or for tired couples who need a quick dinner option.
Their Patiala Chhas (Buttermilk) is "MMMassive" (@Rs.42). One glass can serve 2 or 3 people unless you have a great appetite!
I am so glad that this place has opened in Marathahalli. And I think they are quite consistent across outlets.
One thing: Their ordering system is different... you order & pay at the counter and sit at the table with a counterfoil. That counterfoil is picked up by a waiter and thats when the order reaches the kitchen. So if the place is crowded and sometimes the guy at the counter doesnt tell you that one needs to submit the counterfoil to a waiter and waiter too misses coming to one's table, then u can keep sitting and waiting till kingdom come..... I dont know how often this happens, but thats what happened to me the first time I went there.
