Visited Chung Wah at Coles Road Frazer town this afternoon and I must say I wasnt too disappointed. After reading a few of the reviews, I expected to be disappointed to say the least.... heres what I found...
-Place was simply decorated, airconditions worked, and place was pretty cool
-the girls in attendance wer very polite and very efficient
-food came very very fast
-Portion - Laaaaaarrrrrgeeeee
-Quality - not bad, except, the Kung Pao chicken was very oily
-Price - very very reasonable for the large portions.... I had to pack half of it !
Overall - Not too bad... food was tasty - not very authentic chinese, but chalega, cant complain too much either... Wish they chose a place which had better car parking facilities...
Will I go there again? Yes definitely, and its much better than its neighbours - Beijing Bites and Wangs Kitchen...

Go here only if you want the authentic street type chinese that you get in Bombay. Stick to the usual manchurian etc. and you will be okay. The service, interiors and decor is crying for an update. There is another Chung Wah in Koramangala which is much better for food, decor and service.

I read the first review and felt obliged to set things straight a little for Chung Wah in Koramangala. Definitely, not the best Chinese place in town, but Chung Wah cooks up decent Chinese meals in quite an authentic Chinese ambience. The pricing is decent and from the number of times that I have been there, it is safe to say that the place does attract its fair share of loyal customers. However, as the previous Burrper correctly pointed out, Chung Wah needs a refurbishing of the skills of its service staff.
Still recommended for a quick, nice, affordable Chinese meal.

Okay I do not want to comment on food here. I just want to point out something disgusting I noticed there. Chung Wah in Koramangala is spaced out in two floors. I was seated on the ground floor near the staircase leading to the first floor. And guess what I see there - A waiter taking up a lemonade and having a sip from it to confirm its taste in the most disgusting manner!!!!
I left the restaurant immediately feeling disgusted!
