Expensively Cheap

This is the first time I have had this experience...a fight in the kitchen...A hotel or a road side dhaba...I can't figure it out.
It was my wife's birthday and we decided to splurge...went to this place knowing tables would be available on demand..they seem to have got their demand supply equation in place...they demand so much from the customers...the supply of customers seemed to have dried up...The ambience is nice but nothing out of the world...very comfortable seating though...
The ordering process was smooth and recommendations from the captain helped...
Then as we were having dinner and conversing...thump...thump...thump..goes the kitchen...kitchen doors fly open and captain rushes out with a phone in hand...."THE KITCHEN FIGHT" had begun...
I do not know what set it off...but at these prices they better ensure some basic decorum...
Another shock awaited us...we asked for some slices of lime only to be told no lime was available....
Now at Rs.4031 for 6 people eating only vegetarian food ..with hardly any drinks...it sure is an expensive place...but cheap too....how cheap could you be ...No lime sir...there is a lounge in the hotel, a coffee shop, there is room service..and between them not one lime....
Anyways our experince was ruined....the waiting staff apologised ...but what the heck....I am not in a forgiving mood....
Advice: good food, nice ambience...avoid like the plague
