Been to Pecos in the past , but this time round i went there alone just to take sometime out to write this review !.
Pecos i must say is a Pub for the college goers and adults alike !...lots of smoke and loud music as you enter the top floor !.
the Beer was good , i had it along with chillly pork , and then ordered for a plate of coorg pork ....simply awesome !.
their prices range from Rs 100 to Rs130 per dish ...and Rs 200 for one Pitcher of Beer ....and of course i couldnt finish it all !.
all in all ...a good experience if you simply want some good coorgie food to go along with your beer .
Service - okish ( they get their Bills in a soup cup for some unknown reason !)
Food -- good , try the chilly pork and chiken tikka ,
Ambience ---not my kind ,..dont visit this place if you want to make a conversation happen ! cause it wont ....the music is too loud !
Price ---- Rs 300 min ( if you are taking Beer ie )

Currently: i went thr las week,n i say u get the worst beer on earth now, jus watered to the core.. tasteless. my fav n still going has been the chicken tikka, if u guys havnt tried out.. try it n i bet its the best in town.. then the so called chilly pork which is sweet,...
What a place it was. Come on guys it was the place i hav had some best pubbin n music experience in ma life. But it was then.
Past: Pecos. wow, it was an amazin place, the place i and ma friends spent 3 afternoons and a weeken evenin for sure in a week for 3 years of ma 5 yr law course.
Guzzlin beer was the best u could thr, carry on the pitcher cards... drink 10 n get one free.. man i had 12 cards. The best in pecos was offcousrse the beer, the food, the music, the lunch n the services and the PLACE dark, congested, gay watchers, regulars, joseph kids, fresh lime drinkers, foodies.....................
Pecos was ma second hme maybe if i can call, 10 mins drive from our coll, the best beer i had then, the pub lunch, great service, popcorn, chicken tikkas, pork..... it was jus a great home.
Maybe Pecos needs to wake up to the reality and serve all bloreans some grt beer maan.. u shud do it for us to get comin back....

I just read the review immediately below mine, and I must say I agree. The beer at Pecos is super-diluted. Now, it's cheap, but when I can get beer at the MRP in a 'wine shop', I don't think anything justifies this practice. There are no bottles or cans, everything comes from the tap, so the brewery (UB) can't exercise much quality control. So there's no point drinking here, though the food is pretty good. Pecos is a cultish place, and the service is very friendly. But definitely avoid the beer at all costs.

Want to be Quick Gun Murugan and order masala dosa, sambhar and whiskey? Pecos is your place! Except you get great dosa and chicken curry and some vague ass tasting liquid they call beer. Go to Pecos if you like being around a stuck up crowd, gazing at 'classic' posters, listening to the same music over and over and over again and imbibing the above mentioned liquid. But do yourself a favour by getting smashed at Brigade Fuel next door before walking in.

wow! this is the place to be if you are a hippie kinds. someone said about pecos " the real party begins here man. rest of all the places are just joking themselves". true to its spirit pecos serves the freshest draught beer [ well we will have to settle down for that piss like kingfisher ] we can't get any better beer than this. this place really has a character. the people who come there, the way they dress up, the music they listen to [ you can get to hear stuff like grateful dead, jefferson airplane, rare earth, the who, the beatles, and so on and so forth. but. lemme tell you one thing. this is a one of a kind place. keep going there. pecooooooooooooooooos.
