Being a bengali i was delighted to find a bengali restaurant in Bangalore City. Well the experience was very bad rather miserable. The waiters are very slow and sleepy.........No proper management.....serving of food is very late...........The food tastes ok.....nothing special...

Not much to complain about the food as such. Food taste is OK. We couldn’t find any authentic Bengali food or a Bengali special dish to call this restaurant ‘Bengali restaurant’.
Price is too high compared to the food they are offering. Buffet is priced at Rs 225 per person. I would say if they reduce the price to about Rs 100 or Rs 125, chances are that we will think twice to go to the restaurant again.
My suggestion, if you are not obsessed with the 'anything Bengali', keep this as one of the last options.

I guess the Bengalis will love this joint. I went here only once and found the food okay. I was turned off by the mustard oil in the fish dishes I selected. [but then whats bengali without mustard oil!]
This is a relatively expensive joint. The plain rice alone is Rs.70. The decor is rich but not classy. Disappointing by Bengali standards.
The waiters are a little sleepy. Non-bengali's won't get too much help from them on proper descriptions of the food they inquire about. The menu card offers much better info.
I'm sure I was a victim of the wrong choice of food that day. I must go again and eat something thats popular. That's what you should too! Ask someone who knows Bengali cuisine what to have here.
peace.

The best Bengali Style Brinjal in the whole of Bangalore.............. The buffet is very good. I wonder why it's always so deserted, though...

Great Bengali Food in Bangalore. A must go place for Bengalis during festive season - be it during Puja or Nabobarsha. The buffet spread during festive time has all the delicacies of Bengal including Bhapa Elish, Chingri Malaikari, Bhetki Fish Roll, Kosha Mangsho, Bhapa Sandesh and Misti Doi.
One thing don't like about the place- the furnitures.
