Food bonanza

Perfect place for a Sunday breakfast for me. They serve b'fast between 9 and 11:15 AM, but in case you want to try their famous Mutton stew, well you might not get it after 10:30 AM, but I recommend you try their stew at 9AM itself, when its warm and the way you want it to be. By 10 AM the stew is luke-warm, to keep it in edible state for late arrivals.
Their Omelets are good .... try the cheese and mutton omelets .... my fav is their Lamb Burger which is simple and awesome .... dense steak between 2 slices of circular bread pieces .... the steak is intensely cooked .. suits my desi taste buds .... dark on the outside and very tender inside .... they also serve the English tea, which you have with a spot of milk, if you want to enjoy the taste .... I think in the last 4 months, ever since I moved here, I tick mark everything I have there .... will finish off their b'fast menu in another 4 months .... they also serve Beer after 10 AM .... I know for sure on Sundays, not sure about other days ....food from Kerala at its best.

Raze the steaks!

The younger sibling of the Koshy's Restaurant, Jewel Box has tht best of both - great Koshy's food with a relaxed, well lit and celebratory ambience with good service.

They serve pretty good English breakfast, Fish n Chips and continental food.

I would personally recommend their omlettes (filled or regular), the deeeelicious steaks (grilled/baked and available in both chicken and fish)

For vegetarians, there are equally delicious options. Something that is called 'Navratan Biryani' actually tastes awesome! Also recommended is their prawn and fish curry.

A meal for 2 should range from 300 - 1000 bucks depending on quantity and liquor consumption.

Very satisfying

Always been a very satisfying experience. Walk in for an early lunch, when it is not too crowded - quite a pucca sahib restaurant - good hearty soups, 'anglo-indian' dishes like cutlets and chops.
Dinner: chilled beer and fish biryani - mmmmm ...
Bon appetite !
