When you walk into Spice Curry, the ambience no doubt impresses you. Unlike the 'typical' Andhra places like Nandini, the restaurant offers more space between tables without compromising on number of pax it can seat. The style too is more contemporary with some slick furnishings used.
The food: One of the best options for a hungry stomach is the thali on offer. Both Andhra meals as well as north Indian meals offer a fairly good variety of dishes on the platter. The non-veg is spicy enough, though priced a bit on the higher side. The north Indian fare is just fair - what you can expect at any Andhra place who want to double up as a multi-cuisine.
Though catering primarily to the working crowd's lunch requirements on weekdays, with a fairly well-stocked bar, Spice Curry works well for a Saturday drinks-and-lunch outing too.
Cost: Thali - 60-80/-. Meal for one including couple of drinks: Rs.300/-
