A nice little jungle - Welcome to Serengiti, a restaurant with a cool ambience and great food.
True is the fact that veggies dont have too many options when it comes to concept restaurants. Serengiti beats this .. go try it all u veggies.
Loved the Makai chatpata (starter), tangy potato chips (complimentary starter), Chilli Olive rotis (dont miss this one), Pudina parathas (yummm), Bhaingan Bharta, Serengiti Dal (amazing dal makhani).
Service defn needs to improve, we had to wait for quite sometime for the order to be serviced.
In all, a nice weekend break amidst elephants, deer, crocodile, ... :-)

After unexpectedly stumbling on this restaurant in Burrp reviews, I decided to take the ride to Serengeti .. As the name suggestes, u can expect a real African Forest like setup..
The setup is smthing really great and nt an usual one. It was full of trees n lot of leaves.. plus, many animals like elephants, monkeys, tortoises, giraffes, squirrels.. n few dead skulls likes welcome u to this places.
we took the centre tables which easily give s good view of the falls, the cave seaters , the Skulls n bit egyptian type room.. n more importantly.. the kids running around all over the place..
U get to hear elephants n sudden showers..
We started with a Sharbhat and Pine apple pulp with peper mixed in it. it was good.
The starters we had were , Tunda kebab( minced Mutton with awesome spice .. ) and the Chicek.. we took an hour to complete them ( quantity I shoudl say OK type ..3 pieces of chic n muton n each) .. but the palce compliments for all these.
We decided to hv a TAFTAN ( a specialty ROTI) , was outside crusty n so soft inside.. remember . it was slightly sweet and yeah we had Lahori Chicken which had cardamom in them.
Drinks are a bit expensive here.. ( may be u can try Zanzibar. - the Wild bar .. next door..)
Service was really good and the waiters were very helpful.
Average meal for two will cost less than 1500 .
We had 2 starters, a chic biriyani taftans, chic curry...
Desserts were mostly the same ones available n nt much worth experimenting.
But Even Veggies have a wide array to choose from .. so shudnt be a worry for V and NVs .
I would give this palce 5/5 for the ambience and setup and the food. if you are bored of the regular dine ins , then try this.. n take a look at pics too .

The moment you enter this place, you feel you are in a jungle amidst some waterfall and hear the chirping of birds and other animals.
Walk thru inside and you would find the waiters all dressed in the Shikari Shambu Style!
As we were comfortably seated at our table, the waiter served the complimentary starters. I could call it potato chips chat. The potato chips were mixed with the tamarind and the chilli chutney with little curd and sev. Since I was too hungry, I started hogging it.
For appetisers Sariska Panna (Ripe pineapple based) and Shikari Shikanji. This was ok.
For starters, we ordered Karara Palak Chat which was specially recommended one of my good friends and it was worth ordering! I loved it. Though it was the palak leaves dipped in besan and fried, mixed with the tamarind chutney and the chilli chutney with sev.
Apart from this, there was papaya dipped in sugar syrup on each of our tables mixed with flax seeds. I loved this as well.
We ordered Bran Roti (supposed to be made from the unpolished wheat) and Butter Roti with Handi Ki Subzi.
I loved the Bran Roti for the very fact foof tasting very different. The Butter naan was so huge, my friend could not complete it. Handi ki subzi was spicy and was a great combination with the Indian bread.
We were so full to have the desserts but, complementary Moti Choor laddoos were served. We assumed it could be coz’ it was Indian Independence Day and enjoyed it.
For the two of us, the bill was approximately Rs.800/-
I could also notice some kinda cave in some corners where the tables were placed and the food was served.
Overall, for a jungle experience, Serengeti is a must visit. More than the theme, the food overtakes the score on everything else!!
I give it two thumbs up!!

Another hunt for a good theme based restaurant.Makes u feel in a african dark rain forest.
Food is a mixture, meaning Indian and not AFRICAN based at all, considering the theme.
Good ambience, prompt servcice, good food, meaning the starters, must try out the KESAR PANNA, and can try the TAFTANS, great replacement for ROTIS.
DECENTLY PRICED. biryani average.
