My husband and I are almost veterans at this place! It's a no-brainer when we want some wholesome, reasonably priced food with great ambience!!!
The staff are great and although they have a varied menu, it's Indian they do best!
I have introduced this place to all of my family and friends and some come there even looking for me!!!
My only suggestion would be to spruce up the washrooms and this would get my full 5 stars!

Well... I visited this place after reading the review on burrp... :)
After a long time I visited a vegetarian restaurant which has good decor, service and the most important - good food. I went with my cousins (all veggies and foodies) and have promised to return to the place once again.
The icing on the cake was the price which amounted to about 800 bucks for the 4 of us (mind you, we are all absolute hogs when it comes to eating)... wow... where on MG Road in Bangalore would you find such a combination of good food, great ambiance, quick service and down-to-earth price?
Definitely worth a visit and I'd suggest a "no-miss" for hard core veggies.

I bumped into this when i was searching for a new place to eat at MGRD. This place was suprisingly great. It has a opening from MG road also not. Before it had entrance only from Church Street.
Great ambience. Good food. I experienced exceptional service.
Had gajjar ka halwa which was superb that day. Good veg option.
TRY IT OUT

I went to emgee's and first of all loved the ambience of the hotel.I should say the price was moderate . I had something called a Dal Kichadi(Means Paruppu Pongal in Tamil) ..and wow it was hot and delicious , given some oily potato curry along with it , it would have been awesome and priceless.Sure will go and try some more stuff here.

For ages what MG had lacked was reasonably priced vegetarian restaurant with good ambiance. Emgees appears to fill in that slot
Located in the Shelton Grand Hotel, you could easily miss this place if you are not looking out for it
The ambiance is good for a restaurant in its price range.
I had Channa Batura, Rotis, Pulao and a Paneer dish. The food was tasty and the portions filling
The price is reasonable but beware of the waiters suggesting pricey options and desserts
I made the mistake of asking the waiter for his suggestion on a paneer dish and he recommended a pricey one
