This is a one place where one can have homely delicious feast on Sunday's in UKB's special banana leaf meals. It will be definitley a great grand feast for vegetarian south indians.

I have been patronizing the restaurant for several years now. In summary, it offers very good and authentic Mysore/Bangalore food, I must say. There is a very light meal on offer for 35+ (year old!) folks, comprising some rice, huli (sambar) and saaru - as good as mum makes (or used to, till recently!). The happalas (pappad) are very yummy, one must add. The regular meal and the deluxe meal are for a more relaxed experience, with tasty supplements like mini-Dose, Ambode and other delicacies rotated through the week. End of week is the banana leaf fare which is also a delightful experience - interesting stuff like certain types of payasa being on the menu.
They also offer the standard a la carte North Indian fare which is quite delightfully and lightly flavored - a refreshing difference from the excessively spicy and oily food that is often the characteristic and bane of North Indian food in Bangalore.
Extremely courteous and old-worldly service - and brings back memories NMH's, Shastry Lunch Homes and MTR of the old Bangalore.
Do mind the crowds at certain times in the afternoon - you may have to wait, if you dont have reservations, for perhaps close to 20-30 minutes to be seated.
