I'd say not. There's nothing much to say about this place. Its a cafe with kids , spiked hair, short skirts, backless dresses, high heels...i'm sorry, did i mention this was a cafe? Not the milan fashion week.
They have tried to make the ambiance as chilled out as possible, but i just didn't get the feeling that i'm at mocha.
It's perfect if your 16 and like wearing your jeans just above your knees.
It's alright if your 17 and want to go "babe watching".
Its acceptable if your 19...........well cuz... technically your still a teenage dirtbag.
If your 21 and heading to mocha, your just misguided.
If at all you still have managed to get there against all odds, i suggest you have the chocolate avalanche.
I also hear they serve maggi (for some twisted reason) which costs 150 bucks??? Is that true?
Anyway fellow foodies, cheers and...burrp!

This coffee shop which is quite popular in Mumbai is now in Bangalore at both Lavelle Road and Koramangala.
The place seems pretty crowded as dere are ppl waiting outside on most days.
I visited the Koramangala outlet. The prices are pretty expensive for coffee averaging at around Rs 75. I had the Hot Choclate which was topped with cream.
The belgian waffles topped wid honey and cream and butter as accompaniments @ Rs 50 was good too but a lill too sweet. We also taste the apple muffin which was fabolous and mouth melting. A muffin costs Rs 45.
The ambience is very Mediterranean-ish with hookah's to complete the feel. Service was average.
I personally felt there was nuthing particularly outstanding about the place and slghtly overpriced.
A good place to catch up with frends like the tag line says...
Mocha..Coffees and conversations

I have been to Cafe Mocha in chennai, that place is absolutely charming. After the fine experience, I went to this lousy cafe in lavelle road thinking it will be the same.
Four things I hated about this place.
1, Service - I walk in to the cafe, hoping that someone will assist me to the table, Well to your surprise no waiter is willing to do it for you. I walked around, in and out in hope to finding a decent seat for 5 minutes and got it. You have to wave your hand pointlessly to get some waiter's attention for placing orders.
2, Quantity - pitifully less
3, Music - Too load a open air cafe.
4, Lamp Shades - Who was the designer of the place?
If you are a Sheesha freak, head to elements. If you want a decent cuppa India coffee house is always there. Will never return to this place ever.

went to this place after hearing so much about it. the place was crowded with a lot of youngsters so therefore there was nobody to get us seated as obviously it was busy and so was the staff, we started enquiring ourselves and finally got a place to sit(an achievement). at mocha you would obviously try they coffees not forgetting the sheesha, order placed. we were sitting and just enjoying the crowd around us and thats it......... neither the coffee or the sheesha arrived for more than forty five minutes irritated we prpard to leave not bothering to tell the staff of this prestigous outlet anything and guess what?neither did they bother to ask us.if this place is getting any stars its because of an excellent setting, the interiors and the overall look....but is't there much more than this don't you all think?
