What should you do if you want to have a relaxed evening, with good cocktails and good italian food???
Considering the options available in Bangalore, you can do a lot of things.
But I can safely say one thing you should not do and that is to AVOID Spaghetti Kitchen...
Bad cocktails, a bartender with absolutely no knowledge of what he is doing, waiters who are more interested in taking the orders than suggesting something, serving drinks in wrong type of glass...whew.. the list can go on and on....
Bottomline??? Bad place, bad food and bad drinks.

I had the feeling of walking into a reception hall as soon as I walked into this place, the ambiance sucks with a capital S!The lights are way too bright and the restaurant is one big hall with tons of tables arranged in neat lines(very non-imaginative).One side of the wall was completely covered by ballet-style mirrors which spooked me out.
I must say the menu on the other hand had all sorts of very very interesting and mouth watering dishes and I was spoilt for choice. The wine list is massive and I ended up drinking a glass of Pinot which was very good(though a white wine served in a red wine glass was kind of strange). The bread basket had some very warm oregano bread with a garlic chilly dip.
For the starter,I had a crumb fried mushroom cap stuffed with spinach and parmesan cheese,it was alright(once again I do not like crumb fried anything and it didnt say in the menu it was crumb fried) but the garlic/red pepper sauce it came with was very tasty and different. For the main course I had a pesto pasta and my friend had a black pepper chicken. The service was very quick and we had our food in about 10 mins upon ordering. One thing that was consistent about this place was the food presentation which was done very tastefully and true fine dining style(the only good thing about this restaurant I would have to say)! The pesto pasta turned out to be very oily and very green but strangely seemed to lack the rich pesto taste for all the green it had!It was also mixed with onions, cherry tomatoes and pine nuts, but lacked the parmesan shavings that the menu promised. The black pepper chicken seemed just about right in portions but the sauce was very minimal and my friend had to request for extra sauce which they grudgingly gave after 10 mins by which time the chicken looked stiff.
A meal for two came to about Rs.1400 and on the whole I felt the ambience pretty much killed the restaurant experience. This is in no way a fine-dining restaurant, after all only the food presentation doesnt make a restaurant gourmet! The waiters are sloppy and do not fit into a classy setup that they have aspired for.I wouldnt go back here again considering Bangalore has other options for the same price but way way better food and ambience.

No, this is not one of those pissed-off one-off something-went-terribly-wrong reviews (I never do those).
BUT.
Nothing was right about the place. And it wasn't even an accident.
I was meeting a bunch of my friends for dinner that night. The place was empty when we got there (9-ish). We started off with some drinks (really basic cocktails: Caipiroska, Mojito, etc.) and some antipasti (bruschetta and some caprese). The cocktails were terrible, the caprese was OK and the bruschetta was extremely mediocre.
We returned our drinks and asked them to get something else. And then we realized we really don't have to deal with such poor food, ambience and service. We left for i-t.Alia.

We were a little skeptical about visiting the place after we read the reviews on burrp! but we were pleasantly surprised with the food. The starters and the main course tasted authentic and delicious, the presentation was also well done.
We never enjoyed the food as much as we did that day.
Can't wait to go back.

We frequent this restaurent often and is one of the best places for fine italian food. I saw several bad reviews floating around,so decided to write one myself.
First , the food. It serves gourmet italian food which is better than most places in Bangalore. The menu is pretty extensive and covers starters, salads, pastas, pizzas and desserts. According to me, it serves world best Caesar salad ( not joking!) . Other must-trys are the rosemary potatoes, ravioli and thin-crust pizzas and sizzling brownie. Food is little pricey, but if you are looking for true italian food, it should be well worth the price.
The ambience is nice and pleasant. The service staff is very courteous. I have visited this place many times and found the food and service of the same quality. A visit to Spaghetti kitchen won't leave you disappointed.. take my word for it!
