Halli Thindi. Translates to Rural Food...and truly it is....the food served here is good and authentic kannada food. try the Mangalore idlies/buns or different Dosas or Ragi/Rice rottis...man it is good...the best part of this small joint are the sweets they serve...things like Halu bai(sweet made out of Rice and coconut milk)..Different Payasas and so on...you will keep munching them in..its a nice place to hang out for a morning breakfast or an evening snack...without causing not much of a damage to your Economy :)...the place is crowded at any time of the day and parking might be a problem considering its famous surroundings :)...you will forget all this small issues once you taste the food...so go ahead and have a blast..

Among the few well-known places which serve good South Indian food, halli tindi defn stands out tall. Try their Ragi/rice rotti, mangalore bun which tastes yumm. Some items on the menu are typical mangalorean snacks which are not available in too many place in Bangalore. Parking might not be an easy job to handle considering the number of famous places arnd this joint which includes a temple, wedding halls, colleges, ...
