Average Food, Expensive Menu

Food quality is just about OK. I mainly tried the veg portions and found that the choice of vegetables was very limited there, in spite of the cost of the dish (Rs.90). The Chinese choupsey could have been better. The proportion of Noodles and the gravy is usually off. Ambiance is good for the beginners. I would recommend it only once.
On Double Road itself, a much better Chinese restaurant is Mandarin. Must try that one.

A economical delivery/take out

Kim Lee is fast, cheap, tasty and has a incredibly savvy manager who sometimes sells you the best dish and even customizes it a wee bit. You are lucky if you catch him on the phone coz he mentions the best dish, suggests menu depending on taste and spice tolerance levels.

If you are home late, need a quick dinner, order a hot meal from Kim Lee and more often than not you will be satisfied.

Hidden Gem

If I were to start a Chinese joint some day, I'd first poach the chef out of here. This is the place that has taught me to be a true connoisseurs of Chinese food. Well-rounded menu and very light on the stomach, with almost NO ajinomoto / baking soda found in the food.
The seafood here is good, but I'd go for the dragon chicken variety, as they are all of the top order.
I'd give it a 3/3 only for the food, but 0/2 for the location. Its situated amid a small, busy street and since it's prices are slightly upmarket, it cannot even claim the 'old-world-charm'. Sometimes, it would even put me off to see the vegetable market near the restaurant.
But all in all, this place is a must visit for the true chinese lovers!

Food is fine

The place is not located in a good area. The Chinese food served is good quality wise as wel las quantity wise. But the ambience of the resturant is below standards.Try out for Cantonese Noodles,it's good.May be i will recommend visiting this place only if you happen to pass by and you are in hungry mood at that point
