Chandini Chowk Restaurant - Beware

The restaurant with the ambiance and food that tastes. Well for everyone's kind information, before you all do eat the food out there, please do make it a point that you do have a look into the way they prepare and nourish the food that gets served out there. I did happen to pay a visit some days back and did have a peep into the kitchen. If one see that one would never even set his/her foot into the restaurant again. Also i did hear that the food out there is over nourished with all the unwanted elements that one would not want to have in your plate. So kindly make a note of this point before you do eat at this place the next time. All thouse who have eaten have just gotten lucky. Everything would be good but not at the cost of your health. So the saying goes "Prevention is better than cure"

cheap investment - cheap food

Who would want to sit on a un-clean rock and wait for the slow and pathetic service while your ass aches? And what you get it stale food, to match the stale air inside the place. Its just a posh dabha with no good taste of food. Invest cheap, Invest once was the funda may be. They need to rip it down and make way for something better...

My bad experience

Restaurant serves good food but the quality of service we were offered is worst/pathetic.

Guys do not have sense to speak and every time we need to shout for water.

ambiance was good as usual in any other restaurant.

Dal was highly priced (160) though the paneer dishes are kept quite low(120-110).

Overall my experience is not good and will not suggest people to go there.

noneatable food

Hi Friends,

I went to Chandni chown last weekend, the food was really horrible... I ordered baigan bartha n palak paneer the food was not all worth eating.....
A good restauranrt not only comprises well decorated sit arounds but need a quality and tasty food which is the main purpose.....At least i never experienced such a worst and bad quality and idiotic taste food ever in any restaurant...........
nothing much....it didn't allow me to proceed withouting selecting a star so i did, but my rating would be some negative score ...

well! my take on chandni chowk..

i did not mind the place neither ambience for that place..although those ear aching remix songs could be avoided..
never been to a place this sort before..so i would say calling a place "chandni chowk" does not actually mean the customers always have to compare it with the old and famous Delhi locality..
the Bolly experience to me was a never before experience and to me it was a welcome change..for people who did not like the stone slabs..i have nothing to say!..it is all in the way you take it!
i have gone there a couple of times and the food there tasted delicious to a indian food hungry stomach..
the curtains and the menu card are admired by all nonetheless...
although slightly overrated its not avoidable i would say!
