Mast Khayo!
What else to say about a place which has served me with consistanly good food for over 2 years now....
Its so economical for such good quality of food. At the same time, the people make you feel warm and welcome.
This is my regular hangout, whenever I am not in a mood for lavish 5 star food, this is a place to hit. For less than 100 rs a meal, a wholesome, healthy complete meal is assured.
The ambience brightens up the mood and the service makes me feel at home.
A real mast place!

Good food, no service, bad ambience
It feels like you are in a roadside dhaba rather than a restaurant. the food is good. but u cant choose from the menu. they have very strict and tight combinations unfortunately.
but it offers value for money.

Its is just not my type
It is self service. They have the smallest menu on planet earth and the combinations are strictly water tight as per menu so u have very little left to your imagination or even taste. It is generally full of bachlors who want to have food out daily out of no choice but for a true foodier like me, it is just not the place.
You place an order at the counter. Wait on your table till the never happy or smiling waiter serves you food which is decent in taste tooo....
i would recommend it once in a while when u want to really have fast food on the go....else it is a very normal place which pinches the pocket a little harder than what it is actually worth of.

New Mast Kalandar - Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa
Phew - I figured this Mast Kalandar in Koramangala I block - very close to where I work, opposite to Reliance Fresh on the 80 ft. road. Thank God I now have one each near my office and home.
This one is done up well. it boasts of a new decor, something which I like. This is colorful and music is nice.
Most importantly, the food is as great as ever. The Sinful Punjabi Paneer just melts in your mouth. It also has some really good additions but I stuck to what I was used to. Also tried the Mango Lassi AGAIN - no body does it better than these guys.
All I paid was around 100/- odd. This is good deal compared to all the other so called fine dining places with four times the prices.
They have also started deliveries - so I plan to have a office delivery done on the next Friday for my group. They pack neatly and we can eat in the conference room itself.
Trust me - this is worth a try...only prob is that it is on the first floor - but I really dont mind climbing for the great high that I get from this food :-))
I bet this chain is a boon for people like me....

costly food + tax - no service
The food is decent, but not a real value for money. The menu is on the high end + taxes added to it, and there is no service. You have to order at a counter. The place is too small for the crowd that comes in. The washroom is tiny and UNISEX.
I am not sure of the delivery charges, but they have delivery, so sit comfortably at home and eat. (light on pocket if there are no delivery charged...)
