Gosht Lover's Delight! 2012-05-17
Though a bit steep on the price, Umerkot is the place to be for Mutton Lovers. Nalli Gosht, Rara Gosht...are absolutely heavenly!

Paneer is sooft..
Mixed vegetable was ordinary. Looks like it was an afterthought in the menu. -

Lost its former sheen and glory ! 2012-05-04
Umerkot was a delight when I went there the first time a few years ago but now when I went therethe second time I was very disappointed , the food was not up to the mark, the kebabs were cold and price too steep . Lost its former sheen and glory!
Would not recommend this place at all -

Highly enjoyable 2012-05-03
Visited Umerkot after a very long time. The experience this times was appreciated by all of us. The food has been consistently good. The nalli gosht and the murg sirca has not changed a bit. We saw the same faces in the restaurant and for some reason felt nostalgic about our entire dinner. Food has always been of high standards and we love the place. -

Excellent hospitality 2012-04-25
Umerkot has been our favorite since a long time, mainly because of their wonderful food.
We decided to celebrate my friend's birthday last week here. When we reached the table was booked in our name and we were glad that we had booked.

Nalli Gosht 2012-04-07
It is located on the 80ft road in Koramangala. The setting is simple and uncluttered. The food is absolutely terrific. The service is very good. Nalli Gosht is a must try. Would rate this place high on food and average on setting. -

Staying in Raheja, Umerkot has been the closest restaurant serving excellent food. We often do takeaways. With my inlaws in town, we did a dinner at Umerkot, 12 to 15 of us. Let our server recommend a menu while we insisted on our Chicken Champ. The food was excellent as usual, not very spicy. The service was very personalised. There is something about Umerkot which we all have liked. The food has been very good all the time. Except for when the place gets filled up, it get a bit noisy. -

Wonderful Dinner 2012-03-19
I decided to post my review after the wonderful dinner that we had at Umerkot. I have been to Umerkot several times with my family, however for the first time I took my expat office colleagues for a dinner. I had booked a table for 8 at 7.30 today. The booking was confirmed and the table was ready when we entered. The restaurant did not look too busy.
We ordered some wine and called for some recommendation for kebabs. Chef Sanjay assisted us with some really wonderful kebabs of prawns mutton and chicken. They were top notch. The food was not too spicy but were really cooked well. We went on... read more -

Very fine food 2012-03-14
I have been to Umerkot since the time it opened. The food has been consistently good except for once that I had a problem around 5-6 months back. I visited again yesterday with some clients. The food is as good now, maybe a bad moment for me then. We tried a few kebabs in prawn, lamb and chicken and paneer for myself, a vegetarian.
The kebabs were much appreciated and the paneer was very soft and subtly.
The prawns were fresh as per comments and well made.

Good lunch option 2012-03-11
Returned from a very good birthday lunch hosted by a friend. Very good food. The starters are excellent, specially the fish. Service is very cordial. -
