It was a long pending meet and greet for my friend and I and we always wanted to goto Atria and binge on their Biryani and Mirch Ka Salan.
It was raining one of these evenings and we both impulsively decided to catch up for dinner.
I was all set to eat only the Biryani with the Salan and my friend started ordering for some masala papad. As I got more restless and my friend decided to order some wine as well. It was Grover White wine for him and Sula Red Wine for me. While I was gulping my wine and munching the papad, I noticed a green chutney which tasted very good. Unlike many other places where the green chutney is just pudina and chilli, here they’d also added tamarind chutney to the same and the combo was super. I ended up finishing the whole bowl of chutney without dipping anything into it.
My friend finally decided to order the main course and he started off with Butter Kulcha, Mirch Ka Salan and the Biryani. Here the Veg Biryani is called as Chilman Biryani. As they served it, we started literally digging into it. the kulcha was crisp and kadak, the mirch ka salan awesome with right flavors and spice, it just spread all over my mouth. The ground peanuts in this mixture gave the extra better taste that I love. The Biryani also was good and its something I would surely recommend somebody for.
This restaurant is in Atria Hotel below their multi-cuisine restaurant 1498. The ambience is ok with some tree structure in the middle of the dining hall. One would find lot of Japanese and Korean as the patrons of this place.
A very good place that I would recommend for a good and satisfying meal!
For the 2 of us, the bill was around 1200 bucks.
