  • terrible service 2011-06-12

you get service only if they have low traffic. it took 20 minutes to get water on the table and after a lot of persuation got some soup in 35 minutes and no food till an hour. finally had to leave after 1 hr 15 mins and find food elsewhere. How compacency and arrogance of some staff can get good institutions to behave so badly.

  • Delicious Dim Sum 2011-01-03

I've been to Szechwan Court a couple of times for the dim sum. They do a nice assortment of veg and non veg dim sum options. Sure, it's super pricey but it's good and it is The Oberoi after all, what else would you expect?

  • Very good place for an expensive celebration 2009-11-15

I rarely give out 5 stars to a restaurant, unless everything is exceptional. This was qualifies for it.

Beginning with the very very good service, and ending with the excellent food and desserts, everything was nearly perfect. The food was authentic Chinese, made quite well with subtle flavors. I've eaten (a) authentic Chinese in China, (b) authentic Chinese in India, (c) supposedly authentic Chinese in India and (d) Indian Chinese, and I'm quite fond of (b) and (d).

The desserts were very good too. The alcohol choice was not bad - they're amongst the few restaurants that actually
