I don't know what authentic Lebanese food tastes like, so my point of reference is 'authentic' Lebanese fare comes Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore. The Ranoosh was absolutely empty when we walked in and we almost walked right back to car (no crowd mentality).
But deciding to stay was a GREAT one because we were in for a treat! We had the mezze platter, lamb orfali and dessert - all for INR 870 including taxes! The mezze was fresh, the lamb was succulent and the dessert was light and but with rich filling. We left feeling satisfied but not overstuffed.
Visited this restaurant last week and we had a shock just as we entered the place. The decor was very tacky and the ambiance extremely ordinary, as you would expect to find in a place like a Kamat hotel. Notwithstanding, we wanted to explore the Lebanese food.
