Went to PR for an impromptu lunch with a colleague after a meeting in Indiranagar. A small-ish place on the first floor is nothing to write home about decor-wise but the food turned out to be delicious and quite honestly one of the best punjabi that I've tasted since moving to Blore from Delhi. We ordered Tomato Dhania shorba (must, must try) and then naan, phulka rotis, saagwala chicken and alu raita for main course. The chicken dish was just mind-blowing. Please note, I'm not using these heavy-duty superlatives just like that...the saag chicken was 'finger licking' good, raita was ok ok...a little sour than it should be. All this food for 311 bucks and the service is also quite good! Found out they have a more upscale, fine dining sorta outlet in HSR layout, close to where I stay. This weekend its going to be more of Punjabi Rasoi for me.
