i went here for valentine's day and liked the place and the veggie food,v had ordered tamatar shorba which was gud and aloo tikki chat which was good in taste but the quantity was not enough for two people. the food tasted good and they had many varities. I will b back there soon:) -

Bangalore has been witnessing a spurt in the 'fine dine' rage ... and more so in the Pure Vegetarian range. Being a passionate foodie, i quickly get interested in visiting such restaurants.
I had been hearing of 'The Orchard' from a couple of friends and also read about it somewhere ... decided to give it a try on a weekend and i must admit the outcome was gastronomically Fabulous.
Decor and service pleasant. They do have some open rooftop seating but with kids around, we preferred the indoors.

Pleasant Surprise! 2012-01-06
Had been here on a Sunday night and was pleasantly surprised! Great interiors..nice table arrangements on the terrace. We easily got a table in the open on the terrace.
A good variety spread on the menu...mostly Indian. The Broccoli starter is a must try.
All in all a good place to dine at with reasonable pricing. Probably the best place to eat with family in sadashivnagar.
negatives -no non veg served & no alcohol...but it still is worth a visit! -

We had heard a lot about this restaurant from our friends in Sadashivanagar and got a chance to be there with family, last saturday for lunch en route to the Airport. Infact, we were in a hurry to make it to airport and went in around 1.30 in the afternoon hoping to get a table without having to wait. Though the place was pretty full, the staff were courteous enough to give us a table in about 5 mins. We were given choice of either sitting indoor in the second floor or outdoor on the terrace. Best New place in Malleswaram/Sadashivanagar Area 2011-10-14
The food was very tasty. Two dishes with some naans was enough for two meals for two people. Service is prompt and efficient without seeming overbearing.
We had a paneer dish as well as some dal. Both were excellent. Each dish was between 150 and 200 and was really quite large.
The only objection I have to this place is that they encourage illegal parking on Sankey Road - but they are not alone in violating local laws.

Been there for lunch
The food is decent not exepctional service is attentive and well trained. The Ambience is peaceful clean and spacious

small elevator to goto 2nd floor if there are too many old people who cant climb
Do not expect to go there for mouth watering food its just about ok

Nice Place for Vegeterian Food 2011-08-25
Was pleasantly surprised with my experience at The Orchard.
Its located in Sadashivanagar (in a part which was erstwhile called Upper Palace Orchard) ...
This is a pure vegetarian restaurant... A Fine Dining restaurant ...
The menu variety is pretty comprehensive.... the taste of the dishes was also quite good...
The setting is fairly decent... Service levels etc are fairly good.....
A good recommendation for a family outing.....
