i heard about the chocolate shakes and fondue in choco room from a bunch of friends and being a huge choco lover i found myself orderin a choco fondue one fine afternoon. the dish came with strawberries, choco cake, sponge cake, rolls surrounding a nice little cup of molten choco. it was heavenly to the last drop!! would definetly recommend it to anyone who decides to go here...it may be the priciest thing on the menu (almost rs 400) but it was well worth it! although the ambience is passable, whatever points it lacks in this area is more than made up for with the abundant supply of chocolate.... read more -

I was in b'lore on work and met up with friends for dinner. While walking down to Spiga I spotted The Chocolate Room and being a chocolate lover I made a mental note to skip dessert at Spiga and come here.
Dinner was a long and lavish affair and we were quite stuffed by the end of it and agreed that dessert would be an overkill.
However, we decided we should at least walk in and check the place out. And we ended up ordering 4 items between the 4 of us!

My friend and I have been wanting to try this place out for quite a while and finally made it here last Sunday. The place, though located on the well-known (to Bangaloreans at least) St. Marks Road, is a little difficult to spot as the signboard is quite discreet and the entry is even discreeter, in the basement of a building. Once inside, the place is really nice, with comfortable and spacious seating, an interesting display of chocolates, a nice assortment of cakes and a nice selection of stuffed toys in a showcase. woww..! i loved d place..., ambience is great..!! i tried out chocolate sizzler...it ws jus superb....people dont miss out chocolate avalanche,....n ma friends tried out oreo shake(mostly...coz, i dont remember d name)it ws yum.i'll surey drop in again n again...i got to try more stuff here...dey hav a huugeee...menu...guys..!!! -

Ok I just went the first time there and I just asked the waiter what he recommended. (Lets face it they get to eat there and they will know what is best.).He recommended the a chilly chocolate and something which tasted like ferrero roche. I didnt want to go with the chilli chocolate as tempting as it was. So I went for the other one (it starts with a "T" and has honey in it.) Well the cup came to me and it looked really wierd with a pointed tip.(you gotta see it to believe it). anyways 1 sugar and I was in absolute chocolate heaven. Great Chcocolate Place! 2010-01-02
I was here with 3 of my friends a week ago and we loved it!!! Highly recommended are the Mint Split Latte, Ferrero Rocher Shake, and the Fondue.
We had some quick eats too and I must say its far better than any coffe day, barista, or even Mocha... There were a lot of other things we wanted to try but due to limitations of the human body, we had to put it off... Bangalore really needed a a good chocolate place and I think we have one now...

Disappointing 2010-01-01
Went there after hearing great reviews abt the place in
Gujarat. The place was hot, no airconditioning... in Dec when a place is hot, it is rather surprising. The waiters were interested only in watching the TV and we had to call them many times before someone came reluctantly. We ordered for 2 different drinks which tasted same !!!!. instead of Pesto Panini we were served cottage cheese panini, without any explanation. The Panini had taken so long to come that we ate it without cribbing. The Panini was not bad but not what we had ordered.

Another eatery around the corner 2009-12-18
A few months back I noticed the sign of "Chocolate Room" while walking by the street and couldn't wait for it to open. Course, I forgot about it since till recently when I got parking on the lane right next to it. I intended to walk down and pick a few delicacies for random midnight gluttonous moments, but I ended up having a whole meal there.
I love nuggets, and tried the Toblerone shake which was ummmm...average to below average to be honest. I didn't find any nuggets and the chocolate syrup's quality wasn't to my liking and it was bit overpowering. I next tried one of their chocol... read more -
