Poor Service 2012-05-09
After a great dinner at another restaurant, we decided to stop by TCR, Koramangala at 10:25pm. We placed our order at around 10:30, the staff seemed more interested in the IPL match on the telly and in a hurry to shut the shop. They got our order (which was not that great) AND the bill (high priced) simultaneously at around 10:40 pm. And within the next 10 mins, they shut out the lights and the TV. This was while we were still trying to finish our food.
If they were in a hurry to close the shop, they should has informed us about the same when we entered. Very Rude.

A place holds Promise yet Disappoints at the end 2012-03-21
The title The Chocolate Room created a urge to visit this place and experience it first hand. So with a bunch of friends landed to this place for my Birthday feast. The place has 2 car parking space & no more. Basement parking is not for TCR. View of the place is nice. Idea is nice, but then it stops here. The treats were well photographed in the menu card, reality was different. Hot Chocolates, wedges and fries were ordered after much Not available tags. The Second Coming 2012-02-22
I visited The Chocolate Rooms second outlet on Brigade Road (opposite Eva Mall). It offers probably the best view of Brigade Road. The layout it well thought out and is spacious. The food is good as ever and the staff is friendly. Worth a visit. -

Horrible customer service 2012-02-01
I have tried the chocolate room in sydney and was a regular customer there for 5-6 years.when i returned to india for a holiday thought i would surprise my friend with an online purchase from the shop's website for her birthday.Due to some technical faults, there was an error and purchase was unsucessful. When you write to the customer care they are so full of attitude, arrogance and insensitivity. What is so much proudness for. You dont own the goddamn place, you just work there. Good one time try but overpriced 2011-08-28
Though the name itself is enticing - who wouldn't love trying out a chocolate themed joint ? But having to shell out 800 bucks for 2 cups of hot chocolate with 2 crepes which were average at best - in an ambience which is at par with a barista - I wouldn't call it value for money at all! -

One-time must visit 2011-08-15
I came here for a dinner, and left with a chocolate overdose. Can't complain, since the place is called "The chocolate factory". I think it is worth a try, and get one of those chocolate shots! The food is quite innovative, and the ambience is good. -

Totally not worth it 2011-08-02
I remember reading wonderful reviews this place was getting and I was dying to try it out even though I am not a great fan of chocolate (save dark chocolate). So off we went and tried Chocolate Avalanche (Rs 179), Banana Split Sundae (Rs 139) and Lebanese Wrap (Rs 159). Everything looked yummy when we read the description but nothing tasted that good. We felt that the description did not match what we got. Feel cheated that after we paid such a price. -

Home for chocolate lovers 2011-07-26
I didnt try a lot of things on their menu, but judging by the white hot chocolate, i can say this place is really good. The HC had just the perfect amount of froth and sugar, the chocolate was not overwhelming and the milk was the right heat. I think I will go here often. -

For such a delicious sounding restaurant , it certainly does not love up to the hype which surrounds it. The decor and staff are average. The sofas are certainly comfortable to sit on.Coming to the menu part - The menu seems very extensive covering pancakes, ice-creams n even alcoholic shots. My friend and I wanted to order hot chocolate since we were not hungry. They didnt have most of the hot chocolate options including the classic which is the easiest to make. I had the caramel hot chocolate in a cuddle cup.The name sounds cute but it is really difficult to have to hold a cup without a handle... read more -

The worst Value for Money in Bangalore 2011-05-20
Chocolate room is arguably one of the worst value for money experiences in Bangalore .. the portions are pygmy sized , the prices are outrageous for the food on offer and worst of all the taste of the food offered has to be the most pedestrian that you can have in a foodie place like Bangalore.
Incredibly this is supposed to be part of an Australian chain ... having lived in Australia for a while I can assure you that the Aussie love their food and chocolate and would have nothing to do with tasteless overpriced fare put out at the Chocolate Room -
