Terribly disappointing 2011-11-06
I went there to find the hotel closed. I do not see why a decent restaurant is closed on a saturday evening. Either this has closed permanently or something seriously wrong with the staff for closing it on a busy day. -

Slightly overpriced but variety of cuisines 2011-10-12
Went to this place just to have creme brule but was disappointed that they didnt have it so tried the dessert that was recommended by the waiter and it turned out to be a normal fruit salad kind of. Their entree and main course was also not that great. -

I've posted once before that I loved the food and ambiance here. Since then I haven't counted the number of times I've dined here as its one of the best places in Jayanagar.
But they do still remember me and I was happy to receive a complementary drink on one occasion and a phone call to give me a discount on my birthday..... Thanks Bohemian ! -

Don't get duped 2011-07-31
Don't get duped by the reviews, giving 4-5 stars to this ugly place. I'll tell you why.
I went there today evening, after reading the reviews of this place from multiple people who gave this 4 stars, 5 stars. Being at a stone throw distance (less than 1 km), i thought it could be my regular stopover. Alas!!! the story was going to be different.
First, the place. The ambience is, to state it mildly... sad. Overly lit (I counted 21 CFLs lit in a small hall kind of space, talk about saving electricity). No music, and when they played some at the end, it was punjabi. It feels more... read more -

Unassuming yet delightful 2011-06-29
I had been to the bohemian with four of my office friends over the weekend. I am absolutely delighted to say that this unassuming place offers some of the best Continental food that most of us living in Jayanagar have been missing over the years. The menu offers a variety of soups, salads and main course items both in Veg and Non Veg fete. However, their dessert menu could be improved.

Awful awful 2011-06-20
The worst dining experience ever.
The last time i checked this place on burrp!, some misleading reviews made me pick this place for a birthday dinner (for 6 of us) on the 3rd of June, 2011. It's probably the only time of my conscious life that the food served for the most part remained on the plates.
Soup - Creamy mushroom soup IIRC, wasnt something to write home about.
Mushroom starter - Stuffed button mushrooms were butted back-to-back to make a ball and then deep fried. Extremely oily. No salt.

Expected More.... 2011-06-19
I and a friend had been to lunch here last week....and what struck us was the total emptiness!! There was only one another group when we entered. The restaurant itself is tucked a little inside, which thankfully keeps the noise away, however, it doesn't have an "ambiance" to boast of...at least not during the day. There is hardly any natural light which passes through and hence the lights have to be always on, giving the place a dingy feeling.

Really cozy and very courteous satff 2011-06-16
My brother and I are great foodies and always check out new restaurants through burrp. I was curious to know more about The Bohemian especially after the last few reviews which I thought were very harsh. My brother & Me surprise we were very much taken back coz this place is really cozy and I found the staff absolutely courteous.
However the entrance can be misleading coz its a little inside. We tried the European menu, gazpacho soup, some fish croquettes for starters and seafood sizzler for main course, I must admit that I absolutely loved it and wondered what those last few reviews... read more -

As my friend mentioned about the hospitality, in simple words "its horrifying". The attitude of the management is a big set-off. I had been to the restaurant yesterday after buying some coupons online and initially felt excited at the reviews seen on Burrp, but to my surprise I was not greeted well after they came to know that I had the coupons. Firstly, they said I needed a prior appointment to use the coupon. Later, there were lot of other conditions which virtually pissed me off. nice food - french 2011-06-04
We were passing by and saw this restaurant which was located in 9th block jayanagar and thought of giving a try. Nobody was their at the entrance to welcome us, later when we went inside the restaurant, we saw one table was occupied.
The food was good, but they take lot of time to prepare the food ( almost 45 mins), service was quite good and pleasant interiors.. -
