To The Beach Management: Could you please let me know who should I contact in order to remove my mobile number from your SMS lists/ records? I receive at least one SMS daily from you guys and it's nothing more than spam from my point of view. As far as the rating is concerned it is from my experience 3 years back (that was the last time I visited your pub but I continue to receive SMSes) -

Quality gone down 2011-08-10
I went to the beach a couple of years back and really enjoyed having food here.The service was good.The food was good.The people were friendly.Loved everything about this place.But when I went back recently,the place just got transformed.The food quality went down.Service was slow and pathetic i must say.I think I'd avoid this place unless somebody comes and tells me that the old charm has been restored. -

Terrible food 2011-07-19
We went to Beach last week for lunch. Their buffet - termed `Casual Buffet` - was pathetic. The starters were pathetic and it was very oily too. The chicken starters they served had only bones. And their main course menu had 2 vegetables, one dal and one pulav and with another chicken (bone) curry. It certainly is not worth Rs. 249 for sure. We went with a lot of expectations as it was one of my friends' treat, but every one of us was disappointed. -

10 SMSes on a daily basis. And no amount of complaints is going to change
that.

loves bollywood night 2011-04-22
i just love the beach... i just get only one night to party coz of my hectic corporate life so i only party on Friday nyt's , beach play some kick ass bollywood music, i met the DJ last week, Vee , funny guy plays good music though...
old beach used to be look much better but now its more comfortable.

Read other views but before i write my revies i must tell other people , the only place in bangalore i like is the Beach.
nice casual warm feeling.. may b the food is not that gr8, but it was above good.
i dont go beach to do my regular talks & meetings, i go there to enjoy d evening with my friends and colleagues, sip some drinks , listenin to good music, not like other pub's and club's where they play same loud music.
I was not that regular to beach but after visiting Xtreme , cirrus, sunny's , hint....
i like beach is the Best.

The Beach is a small cozy 'beach like' (duh) ambience. A little dark, but not too fastidious. The food is above average, sometimes even enjoyable. However for the small place, the music often gets so loud that it is almost impossible to even have a conversation with your guest across the table. The idea of the restaurant is to entertain the guests with music, but it should not be to the extent that it irks you. The low chairs and tables are set to give the restaurant a rustic feel- good. Me and my wife visited this place for lunch. The waiters took the order and it looked like they didn't know what to do with it . For the price this place charges, the service is pathetic. Food is mediocre. We Had ordered a plate of tikka , the height was the waiter got it and served it to some other table after an hour. ten he realized his mistake and took the same plate away from that table next to ours and took it inside. after some hours gets it and serves us, Then in the bill they charge service charge..i am amazed what this charge is for in this kind of a place. .... We wanted to visit a place with a beach based ambience. Me and my friend (Both guys) came in 5 minutes after 8. The service was terrible.
If one goes to a small chaiwallah shop in a local hamlet the waiter comes and picks of the glasses without asking your permission. We had the same experience there.
I ordered a small vodka initially. It was definitly not 30 ml. more like 10-15 ml. I had asked for some sprite and a fresh lime . The sprite came after repeated reminders.
The waiter cant speak english properly. They dont have a feedback form.

BEWARE 2010-12-21
After hearing and reading much about this place we went for sat lunch , though they have tried to recreate the experience of beach but its very shabby , muddy. all throught our lunch we cudnt ignore the water dripping from the roof , sand spilling in our footwear, and ofcourse the upholstery (NEEDS A SERIOUS MAKE OVER OR ATLEAST A WASH!!!)
Now coming to the main part the FOOD... terrible would be an understatement .... there is no concept of value for money or atleast a sense of satisfaction after eating or paying. we were totally disgusted and jst prayed that we shudn't fall sick!!! At this... read more -

We're extremely apologetic for the inconvenience caused due to the dripping of water from the roof. However, we would like to bring to your notice that this was caused due to a technical glitch in our A/C Outlet which could not be repaired during business hours.
The Beach is a concept resto-bar that is intended to be muddy and full of sand.
Please note, that we maintain all proper standards of hygienic food preparation and service. Having said that, we're sorry to have disappointed your tastebuds and not lived up to your expectations !
