Taja Masala Soda is named quite rightly; because Mamata and her gang started this join a couple of years back to serve the homesick needs of BMS Engineering Hostel and they primarily served... you guessed it... Masala Soda. Today you get a range of hot homely food here ranging from parathas, fried bread rolls, frankie rolls, vada pavs and pastries. Nothing costs more than 15 rupees. This place is also known as AUNTI PARATA, as this is near BMS hostel, the guys there have named so. Every year I order birthday pastries from here and they are made with such perfection that you are tempted to hog there. But never comment about the taste there.
Taja Masala Soda is a small and humble place on the main road behind the BMS boys hostel.
It has a narrow entrance and this gets even narrower, because of the fans this place has!
To the left of this place, you can find a chilled glass closet with some deliciously decorated pastries, for those who like it without the egg, you have your choice to make as well.

Never knew this existed for the past 4 years. Initiated by a housewife for running the households
Started with just the chats and soda during the summer, she wanted to diversify as the season changed. Since, it’s a very small place, they dint want to make too many things and make a mess out of it… so, kicked off with the paranthas. Gradually the diversification also led to Pastries, cookies, cakes and frankies (rolls).
