Good Homely food 2011-12-04
I am a fairly regular visitor to this place. The food they serve is simple and no-fuss. The service is basic and relatively clean. They serve two types of curries, sambar, rasam, chapati, curd and rice in the basic meal. The special meal has butter milk, salad and sweet extra.
This is a good place if you want to experience a typical North Karnataka, South Maharashtra type of cuisine, without any fancy stuff. The place is good for bachelors and young couples or families, who want to have a quick meal while roaming around in Jayanagar -

Really Ok Ok food.. 2009-04-29
Had been to this place couple of days back. The place seems to be a very small one and a bit shabby, The food is also not so great but definitely not with the family. The meals are really fine where there are 2 options. One is normal which will cost Rs.30 and and the other is Special which costs Rs.50. The only difference in both is that they serve sweet and butter.
Overall I would say its a fine hotel to dine in with friends occasionally. -

Just Simple! 2008-12-17
A friend of mine updated me on this new outlet 2 days back. Now, that’s a good enough reason for me to try it out :)
So, an unplanned shopping, visit to the church and a long walk resulted in tiring our legs, rounded off to trying out the new place and treat ourselves with the jowar roti meals. Well, I’d have tried this place out even if I wasn’t tired!!!
